We reserve the right to change, modify, or adapt all rules as deemed appropriate by CounterLogic in order to uphold and maintain a spirit of overall fairness and good sportsmanship.

All players and teams are to uphold the spirit of fair play at all times. Any attempt to beat the system will be punished swiftly and harshly. The goals of these tournaments are to aid in the development of the competitive crossfire community.

Unsportsmanlike conduct of any type, including but not limited to racist or abusive remarks and attempts to circumvent or abuse any league policy as determined by CounterLogic is not tolerated and is subject to punishments including forfeits, expulsions, bans, or any other action deemed appropriate by CounterLogic.

Game Settings
Search and Destroy:
9 Rounds

If needed overtime will consist of two 5 rounds to win halves. At the end of a half teams will switch sides and continue. Sets of overtime halves will be played until there is a winner.

All in game items that come out during the event are automatically banned. Additionally, all ZP and Crate Items are banned.

All participants must use a form of screen recording (listed below) at all times during their matches or they will automatically be disqualified from the tournament. The recordings cannot be stopped in the middle of any game or the team will be disqualified. Any attempts to circumvent the Client will result in a forfeit loss and expulsion from the cup. 10 FPS and 10 Quality is the minimum settings.

Match Scheduling.
Either the captain or designated scheduler from the home or away team can initiate a match offer. When initiating a match offer, the captain proposes a match time and server from the pre-populated server list.
If teams disagree on server selection; the home team will choose the server for first half and the away team may switch servers at half to one of their choosing. The same rule applies for overtime. The matches are to be played within the time-frame given by me.

Server Crashes.
If a server crashes, contact a League Administrator with a detailed report. All rounds prior to the server crash will count, and the round score will be played out on a new server by nading oneself until the score is correct.

Forfeit win/losses.
If a team does not have five players in the server "readied up" after 20 minutes from the originally scheduled match time, then the opposing team can force them to play with 4. If they cannot field 4, then the other team will be able to submit a forfeit win. The captain of the team should message an admin with screenshot proof in order to submit the forfeit win.

Tournament Guidelines:
  • Non-standard game settings or third party applications that affect game play are not permitted
    C4 must be planted at a viewable location. Planting C4 at a location where a boost is required is not permitted.
  • Any use of game exploits, cheats, or any other play deemed “unfair” by an admin may result in disciplinary action up to and including disqualification from the tournament.
  • All players must save game replays and end-of-game score screen shots; in the event of a dispute, these assets will be used as evidence to determine the result of the dispute.
  • All players must be online and ready to play 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
    If a match disconnection occurs by either party within the first minute of a map, the map is to be restarted.
  • If a match disconnection occurs during game-play, and teams cannot come to an agreement as to the best course of action an administrator is to be contacted immediately to make a ruling as to whether or not the match should be replayed or a forefeit loss should be awarded.
  • Exploits will be judged on a case by case basis. Ignorance will NOT be a valid excuse for using an exploit, whether it is known or not. If you think something is possibly an exploit, or you are unsure as to whether or not it is, don't do it!
  • Dispute Resolutions, all disputes must be filed via a forum post or xfire. Disputes will be resolved by League Administrators and all decisions are final.
  • Exploit & Infraction Penalties will be dealt with on a case by case decision, but standard resolution for the below infractions include overturning the round in which the infraction occurred if the infraction had a direct impact on the outcome of that round.
  • All scripts that alter a player's hit box, or give a player an unfair advantage over others are illegal.

Reporting Process:
Reporting deadline is 1 hour after the completion of the match.

Team Leaders must update the information on the reporting thread as well as xfire me the screenshots of their match by the reporting time for confirmation.
Team must retain replays/anti-cheat files/screenshots of each half of a match in case a dispute arises. These files can be deleted after the cup ends.
Teams must wait 20 minutes following the scheduled default time before submitting a forfeit win report. Valid proof is required (screenshots, confirm-able chat logs, etc).

links to screenshots and replays.

Filing Disputes:
Disputes should be claimed within 1 hour after the match. The team being disputed will have 12-24 hours to upload their recording to youtube or any other uploading sites. If the team is not able to upload then team-viewer is going to be used. Recordings should be kept throughout the whole tournament. Disputes can be claimed in a separate thread or via xfire @ CounterLogic.

Rule Changes:
The Administrators reserve the right to modify the rules as needed. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, event organizer decisions and all other changes deemed necessary to run a successful tournament. Players are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to the event to ensure they are in complete compliance. Players must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.
