New Tournament ~ Cash Prizes
Just looking to see, how many teams would participate? The tournament fee is $5 per person and here is how the schedule is going to look (Thanks for IReid for providing me with this):
Week 1: 16 teams play. 8 teams play.
Week 2: 4 teams play. 2 teams play.
Week 3: Finals.
Week 4: Sign-ups for the next month.
Prizes (This is if we get 16 teams):
First Place: $150
Second Place: $50
Third Place: $25
NOTE: Prizes will change and go higher as more teams sign-up.
Also, the team limit is not capped at 16 teams but it's just what we hope to catch.
Anti-Cheat:
We will be using MyAC for this tournament. Also, MyAC has fixed the mouse lag issues with dual core PCs.
Teams will consist of 5 players with 2 subs.
This is a IF tournament. Just post your team below and who would pay and if we receive the amount of teams we need then this tournament will launch soon.

This is a money scam lol. 25$ per team is a rip off. Your making 250$ per ten teams and your prize money is set under 300$ total in prizes for 16 teams.
MyAC charges $250 3 months for the AC. The prizes will be higher as more teams sign up. -

Actually, most tournaments are set up this way -- to cover anti-cheat costs, costs for a future event, time costs, etc.
Disregarding that, he may have meant 5 dollars per team, or that the entry cost would add onto the baseline amounts. More likely, he didn't double-check the maths.
And, even at 5 dollars per player, with 11 tournaments in 11 months with 16 teams, in a year he'd have saved enough to do more than a 1,500 dollar finale (presuming he is hoping to tie this into the league he discussed in his other thread). -
1 month long tourny costs 560$ for 16 teams each time. Prize money given out is 225. You could have 3 tournys for 250$ worth of AC. Even 1 tournament with 560$ in sign ups you making over 100$ each time even with AC costs. You could host 3 tournys over a 3 month AC purchase too which would be close to 750$ in profit.

Make it cost nothing(: Its a at home tournament. Not a go away tournament or anything else so just make it free to sign up. You will get much more teams to sign up. I can tell you that(:

nah nothing is pretty bunk. They probably need help with prizes. I'd say 20$ per team. 5$ per player is expensive. -

Right, and the people running this tournament are extremely intelligent. Wake up you germ, getting people to pay an entry fee to pay for the anti cheat is ridiculous. -

The profit will be used only to help pay for coders to code items needed for the league and a ranking system.

If you think the league fee should go towards paying for the anti cheat (which is jokes) as well as coding the website and other fees that should be covered by the people running the league the only retard is you. Refer to the above, if you can't pay $250 without 3 other people helping you then you're going to have a bad time finding a coder for a website.
