my mistake was like yours and have it fixed. you have to go to www.dll-files.com because that the problem is in the DLL files from your windows. on that page download the file (if it is counterts.dll aspnet) and lower part of the dll files fixer program and scan your PC, it will help trust me

I can't even get into the game not because of that but it just says; "HGWC: Failed to connect to the server:W[2003]L[0]. I'm assuming this will be solved eventually, if not I'll have to install Crossfire again.. Tried this disabled firewall, still the same result.

You might need to close the background/3rd party programs completely.
Examples are Fraps and Gamecam and Ati Tray Tools (or similar background programs to increase the FPS and gaming performance). -

Same here.
Windows 7 64bit SP1
Doesn't matter if I restart the PC or have Anti-Virus deactivated etc..
He never shows a Tool-Name and he shows the Message ~10sec after login (server doesn't matter ).
And I'm for sure not the only one, asked several other people.

Yeah using Kaspersky
BUT: It's and it was in the exceptions.
And starting with deactivated one right after reboot doesn't work also.
And DON'T tell to completly play CF without Kaspersky.
No game in the world is it worth to hurt the security of the own Data and Company.
