-18, chill
-mic, communicates well
-hybrid, starting to rifle more nowadays
-workable shot (room for improvement)
-developing gamesense
-wants to learn and improve
-follows strats

So basically I'm a pub player trying to transition to competitive. Right now, I can't honestly say I would make much more than an average competitive player. But I think I have a lot of potential and I sincerely want to improve.

I know I probably won't find a team willing to take on some random pubstar, but if there's one out there, then I'll be glad. I'm dedicated and not just looking for a 2-week team. I'm willing to start or sub. Main thing is, I really want to learn and improve--whether that's through scrimming or practicing.

Well, if you're really a pubstar, then you probably have above-average aim. That alone should get you pretty far. I wish you good luck, as I'm sort of in the same position as you right now.

started using the AUG a few hours ago. worked well in e8 pubs. havent used this gun in 2 years (last play date on this account: 10-10-2010), but damn does this rifle feel good.

WekWek is recruiting http://clan.z8games.com/clanstat_cf.aspx?guildid=81354 . We mostly play on the weekends, maybe a little bit on the weekdays but not much. As long as you can follow directions and aren't annoying you're welcome to tryout

5-7? It's hard to say as some will just come on at random times or as soon as another gets off, so we usually have to get a ringer.

Lol ikr. We did better in our scrim against hype than our cw against veracity. Just had to mention it cus latvian is in hype now :P

Just play S&D pubs in E8 & A7 for practice, practice head shots only. You'll lose your kdr, which you won't be used to at all if you're a typical pubstar, so you have to forget and ignore that or you'll get frustrated.

Thanks man. I have been playing e8 pubs a decent amount lately. Sometimes I fail badly, but most of the time I do fairly well and get majority headshots when rifling.

I'm not too worried about aiming--it's something I practice on a regular basis. The thing that I worry about more is playing smart--sometimes I notice myself making really dumb decisions late in rounds. Gotta learn to play angles better and learn when and when not to peak.

Nice, then I'd just follow around some random guy each round and try to just give him cover the whole time. That should help you learn to work with different people, and build some game sense you're looking for?
