tar is better if u like to spray..xm8 and the adv has mean accuracy but is also used alot by sprayers..so yea they both are good for the players who know how to pinpoint but get flamed cause of the ones who spray n pray

I think TAR 21 is better only because the zoom scope is better than the XM8 optical scope which utilizes a fairly medium-large size red dot. This isn't very useful as in long range, the red dot will overlap the whole body of an enemy, thus making it near-impossible to determine whether you are hitting him or not.

It also increases difficulty in getting a long range head shot, as the dot will also overlap the head of an enemy.

The zoom scope is better as it just 'zooms' in. Simple, yet better in performance and definitely more useful in long range situations. The zoom does not feature a red dot; so you can see more clearer if you are hitting them or not.

Conclusion: Anyways, they are both well rounded guns, and the scopes don't really matter too much if you won't bother to use them.

I never have used Tar so can't say much about of it, but XM is nice gun once in a while.
I like to use it, when can't play with any other of my guns.
I got pretty much of GP guns.. <o.o>
