WCG Qualifier 2 finals

its for the experience, and at LAN there wouldn't be any second guessing of the skill. I want to make sure that even at LAN the guys are as good as they are online.
experience in a video game, i am missing something here? what exactly is this going to do for you??? you don't get ANYTHING from playing video games. -
teenagers and young adults are dumb with their money. To most, dropping a few hundred to go play at lan is worth it for the experience and seeing their fellow team mates despite standing a chance to win. OR they are clueless and think they stand a chance.
Everyone on LPK is 18+ besides mykL. I don't really understand what you are talking about.
We aren't going to nationals for "the experience". We would be going for the chance to play at the world finals... -

i wasn't referring to lpk in particular(I actually think you guys will do well, if you go). I was making a broad statement directed at your comment about the cost. -
There is a massive difference between playing online and playing on lan.
Not really. Just air reg and interp.experience in a video game, i am missing something here? what exactly is this going to do for you??? you don't get ANYTHING from playing video games.
I guess if you have never been on an actual vacation, playing video games in a hotel basement for 2 days and then flying home might be exciting.youre right, people that suck online will most likely suck at lan
Hence why it is pointless for teams besides HRG/HT to go. The last 2 qualifiers have made it pretty clear where the cutoff is for the top 2 teams. -

You're being very modest, your team was pretty dominant in the early rounds of the first half last night, just lost momentum. Not to mention you have players who lack experience. Also, none of the teams have been together nearly as long as HRG/HT. Give it some time, some teams might catch up, who knows. -

fixed it for you
we've played for about a month, 2-3 times a week for an hour or so each night. if that isn't enough time to learn mexico/bw/port/subbase we are doing something wrong. -
No, they are paying for a ticket for a chance to win, something that YOU don't have.
yeah because they did so well online that they'll do even better at lan
is that why your **** team died?
Edit: And i've played at multiple LAN's before which were a couple of bucks and a coach bus away (in NY of course) instead of paying hundreds to go who knows where -

Do you people just not know something and just decide to make it up?
My team is far from dead, and we will be playing in the National Qualifier, whether it be online or at LAN. -
