Players,

I reformatted to Windows 7 Profesional 32 bit. This fixed my game. I can now play normally. However; I think I am going ot reformat to Vista 32 Bit here this weekend; I want to see if this is an OS specfic issue or not. However i WAS able to play normally after installing windows 7 professional 32 bit.

Nice ok, thats quiet fun, because all these people with this issue have to reformate their windows or should buy "windows vista 32 bit"?
That shows me that CF doesn´t matter our problems

have you guys heard of DBAN .. this software will completely erase your windows with no tracks left behind and start fresh so that you guys will have no problem connecting in CF

C:\CFLog

I am running windows xp service pack 3, nvidia drivers, 32 bit. I have rebooted my modem, did the uninstall according to the forum posts. My next step is formatting my hard drive; which i really don't want to do.

FYI: i also get this error on my windows 7 64bit laptop. same exact issue.

There are no new errors in C:\CFLog or in the Z8games directory

Hey Guys, here is the quickest solution. I think reformat works, I did so today and I can play now, I use XP SP3.

I have 2 computers, both have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. One PC has these problems the other one doesn't.It's very weird.

fox, you have to reformat. There is no other solution at the moment.

Ok here is the fix to ur problem. Make a partition of ur hard drive, install a windows os on it. Then boot ur pc with that partition, then download latest version of cf. Then it should be fixed, if not, then it's ur internet. To fix that, ring up ur ISP, ask them nicely to put the default settings. And there you go. Fixed! Hope this helped.

reformating your hard drive dosent make sence because this all happened when we got the april 1 patch. Also we going to get a new computer not because of this and it mite be windows 2010 coming out fingers crossed.

Windows 2010? What's that?
About the reformat, I have the problem of freezing, people are saying that reformat is the best option but I don't really want to reformat this PC.

You may want to try removing your anti-virus and seeing if it runs with that removed. Sype ended up finding out his anti-virus was causing an issue with it.

all i know is that my game worked perfec (not really) before the april patch, and now it sucks...so im gessing its the patch...i seriously dont wanna fromat cus i dont got the drivers and stuff

To all who is posting:

Please try to completly uninstall your Anti-Virus. I had an issue with the NOD32/Eset suite. (Even after i followed the guide to unblock it) Even disabling the antivirus did not work; i had to completely uninstall the software. If your running anykind of antivirus you may want ot try this before you reformat.

seriously tried to change my modem to one that does not have wifi nor is rotiador not go forward, I tried to reinstall cf 5 times no avail, tried to make a mega cleaning on my computer to no avail, tried to uninstall the program Revo Unistal not go forward, tried to disable firewall and anti virus is useless,

well I guess the moderators do not know how to solve this problem (For me that is a shame)
