We use UAC3. From the feedback of the players that used it on friday, no one experienced any lag from it. UAC4 is coming out soon, and we will be upgrading to that one.

@polleus thank you for your advice. I do agree. I don't understand how hard it is for people to give a little bit of advice, especially when mittenz has held community meetings for people to come and put their opinion into our draft.

If they take more than 10 seconds, move on. They get whatever is left at the end. Plain and simple.

4) If the draft starts at 9:00PM EST, then that is the cutoff time for players to come in for team selection. Anyone after that goes into the waiting room in case someone drops out and a team needs a replacement.

5) Don't be afraid to enforce your rules. You will always have haters who don't like to follow rules and will give you a hard time. It's normal and it's expected. Put your big boy pants on and just deal with it. It's going to happen whether you want it to or not. Enforce your rules. Period. No excuses.

Running drafts is not as easy as it seems. If you as the draft organizers allow your players to dictate the way the draft goes, then you're doing it wrong. You guys are supposed to be the draft organizers. Run your schedule, your rules and don't settle for anything less. If someone is screwing around and won't follow rules, kick them out of the draft. It's that simple. You can be professional and still enforce your rules.

Thanks Polleus. Our drafts normally start on time..but someone is always going to complain about something. One of our admins made a boo boo last time and it held up the draft..but its fixed now. The Team Captain thingy will only choose 2 of their players. One person can be on their team and one person will not be on their team and the other 2 are randoms. We will be letting them choose 1 at a time until all chosen players are taken then we will randomly put in 2 players. Its worked well so far and if anyone has problems with that then they dont need to play.

Team Captains are put in their teams at 7:45 and at 8pm we then make the teams. Draft is usually going buy 8:05 with no hitches.

I know we cant please everyone and there are always going to be kids who QQ. I have absolutley no problem with holding onto the rules i have made and banning/kicking anyone for this. I will ban without hesitation if the rules are not followed and a ton of the players know that. I stick to my guns and have given the community many opprotunities to speak. Since they havent we made the rules and stick to our guns with it.

Its simple and easy. If you want to play the draft then play. If you do not want to play then do not play. Its up to you. If your going to cry in the forums about our drafts then dont come and find a better place to play at. We dont mind. We want to see everyone have a good time and come out and play and win. If we are not providing that to you then please feel free to find it somewhere else.

Next Draft is Friday, September 14 at 8pm central (9pm est) in our Mumble. Please be there 15 minutes early so we can get the captains into teams. I look forward to seeing you all there and have a great week

Oh and make sure you have UAC3 please!! This is the anti cheat we use and we check it continuously when the players are using it. We will be upgrading to UAC4 when its ready. You can download this AC at uac.ac.
