Want to know whats cool about Crossfire? =D
Nothing... This game is getting exactly like Combat Arms; the game I quit playing because of the huge amount of hackers. There was one time you could play a server in Crossfire and never be against a hacker. If you ever met up with one, then it would only be one. Now I can't join a server without seeing spinning characters or going afk for a quick moment in a corner and being killed. I don't know if it's the new anti-cheat system as 90% of players say it is or just that the mods haven't been doing the job they should but I can assure everyone people are gonna start moving to other FPS games, and nobody wants that unless they are forced to do so.
Come on... this is an awesome game. No one wants to see it go to ruins.

While there is a plethora of hackers on this game, compared to combat arms its far less.
Sure seems that way to me at least.
I got tired of people turning in flags in less than a second on that game so fast.
It really never seemed to get better.
Doesn't help when the people running the game are so fail they can't even fix the buddy/messenger system for well over six months either
It isn't a surprise that people hacked the game so fast, but it isn't all that great to see either.
I hope like most others that the new anti-hack will find people doing it faster and more thoroughly. -

But maybe if people stop pretending there is no problem with the game, then the people who fix this game might see how many players are having issues and might actually get to fixing things.
I saw complaints about people liking the fact that they can download updates for the new anti cheat program faster. What the hell? Last time i checked no one still ran dial up so that shouldn't be an excuse.

Yes it is true that it is sickening that players capture flags in 1 second or kill the whole map with a knife in one spot and the Combat Arms mods might have been busy, but they did something about it bringing the Elite mod into the game. Maybe not all rooms will have it since you have to pay but at least you can get a hack free room once in awhile.

true true....but i really dont understand for some reason, why would they get an ANTI-HACK that cant protect the game from hackers? like the gameguard was a bit better u know what i mean ? this anti-hack makes the game loads faster i love it ...but the hackers....and reporting? really im tired of reporting there is no point.....over 20 reports....i have a life dont have time for it

In my honest opinion, reporting does nothing. I'm sure there are the few noobs who report a clean player just because he got a headshot or something stupid like that.
About the game being out for less than a year.. If that is the case and the game is so full with hackers then it might not make it to 1 full year then.
Also look at the fact we have to lower our computer's protection just to play this game.
I think complaining does settle some matters since the players are the ones supporting the game and we make up the community. I think our voices should be heard. -

The community of players of CF is, like all other communities (not only in video games, it's a human trait it seems) full of idiots, noobs, cheaters, etc. Tu put it bluntly, you can't rely on them. In a perfect world nobody would hack. And if someone did, all other legit players would immediately kick and report him, without hackusations and kicking spree. A nice shot would be complimented (or at least not followed by any of the following : haker/lucker/lagger/noob/camper/wtf/bs), the end of the game full of "gg". Etc, etc.
So, until mankind changes (/sarcasm), hackers must be taken care of by those running the game. I know they are working on the matters, I will wait and see what they do for that in the future. And I also understand that they will never be able to stop them all, there will always be hackers no matter what, but if they don't put a stop to that proliferation, all legit players will stop paying and quit this game (/sarcasm again, if you take my above statement about humans, you know there will always be people to pay). -
sad thing is that no patch is gonna keep out hackers, and even if there are more hackers then there was before x-trap, does it really matter? your supposed to be having a fun time. true hackers make fun time not fun but i've learned to see them as a challenge, so i get better at learning how to defend myself. not that im saying that we shouldn't do anything about them, but i think we are bashing Z8 games to much.

I just grinded 17 TDM matches, 4 GM matches, and only saw hackers in 2 of the TDMs... Both the same guy.. One shot kill... and both times i forgot to save the damn replay. So stupid sometimes..
Anyway, the ammount of hackers has decreased ESTIMATEDLY, 95% since X-trap. They're pretty much non existant. Theres VERY few hacks out there now, and X-Trap still has patches to do.
Maybe the paranoia is settling in again, i can see it already. I'm getting accused alot once again.
Everything is cool about Crossfire. You shut your talking.

15 150+ping players in every TDM is NOT OK. But thats not the games fault. So yea, Everything is cool about Crossfire.

never used to play hackers? was this the closed beta ? i did play during closed beta Btw. hacking was a serious problem and still is but the amount of hackers has decreased =] the people behind this game do a good job P.zNothing... Reporting does nothing. I reported someone for speeding and gun hack. Nothing happened.
do you only know how many people are reported to saidin and fallen daily kid ? it can take weeks for them to watch all the replays and then take the appropriated counter measure you need to be patient and look at the ban list more often
+ since X-Trap updates there is no more hack on CF only people who are better then you and who are legit so just enjoy it while the hacks need to be remade and stop the QQing everywhere..... -

depends what game mode you are on and some players have good ears and headphones set so if you run they can hear you (gm- Breath, footstep, falls, water, light) all these things can influence your gameplay i see a lot of people running then turning and kill me simply on the sound of my footsteps (reason why im mostly walking) -

I have a headset myself, and I wasn't talking about that...
I said, people doing 360º spins are called aimbotters because, it's a hack that auto aims to the body just by pressing a key I believe.
Maybe you didn't know that? -

I have headphones, very good ones, sometimes I even have to ignore sounds so that I'm not being hackused (I swear, sometimes I also shoot anywhere but on my obvious target just so everyone are sure I'm not hacking).
I'm also aware of my environment, when I see my mates being killed (little fading cross on the radar) or the trajectories of the bullets, when I hear weapons fired, footsteps, bomb picking, reloading or even weapon changing sounds, I can locate them easily and coupled with the radar, I can easily tell if the sounds come from a friend or foe.
But never, I mean NEVER that, would allow me to do a perfect 360° in front of an enemy.
We are speaking of people who detect you visually, then, just before they start shooting at you, perform a light speed perfect 360° rotation then kill you with deadly accuracy.
They do not hear you then turn at you, no, they are already turned towards you, then flip-flap kill you. This is hack. Even though it has almost disappeared as of now, it was very common just after the update. -

maybe you just didnt know that its not because people turn around and shoot that they are obviously hackers... oh and dw i know about aimbotters anyway ... keep on the QQ if you feel better but when a patch is made hacks are off for the time they need to remake them....... so just enjoy this time instead of trying to give me a class on aimbotters >.< -

okay i agree with u, but noobs with a smiley face or low rankers when they do a 360 spin i dont think theyr legit, and even with a player witha high rank when he twitchs, and spin, its tooo obvious and u cant tell people not to QQ....a freakin CAPTAIN with aimbot, like seriously i still wonder how he's still playing. and you know what pi.s.ses u off ? when they tell u to stop QQ, and get skills.
