Ghosts and Ghouls Halloween Tournament

Time to buckle down and start training for this upcoming Ghost Mode Tournament! Let's start off with some info. This tournament will have 2 divisions: UK and NA. The Tourney is clan-based. Matches will be pre-scheduled and listed here before the tourney begins to give you time to discuss with your opposing team to reschedule to a more appropriate time if necessary. Matches will be set up according to EDT/EST time. Matches will flow as 9 rounds and 2 halves. UK Finalists and NA Finalists will not play each other for the Championship. Sign-ups will begin August 1-14. First round of matches will be hosted on Laboratory. More info will be put here if necessary. After a match starts teams have 20 minutes to make sure all are in attendance. Absence of necessary players will result in a forfeit after the 20 minute mark.

You must screenshot your screen on the first round of both halves and have your team leader PM them to me here on the Forums. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. To screenshot hit your "Print screen" button, paste into Paint, save it, and upload it to a site like imgur.com or photobucket.com, etc.

Rules
  • One-man boosting is allowed. Any boosting that requires more than two people (The booster and the boosted) is punishable by loss of each round of violation.
  • Glitching/Hacking/etc. is not allowed. Any person caught doing so will have him/herself along with their team disqualified from the tournament, as well as reported.
  • All weapons in use not allowed by that stated below will result in a loss for each round of violation.
  • Bhopping is allowed. (Just wanted to make it clear)
  • Rejoining is not allowed. ie: If you die before the 2 minute mark and rejoin.
  • Each team is given one disconnect.
  • No glitching the bomb.
  • Do not disrespect or ridicule anyone in the tournament, be them MODS, Overwatchers, or players.

Team Setup
  • Clan-based: All team members must be in the same clan
  • 5 main players
  • 3 subs

Here is what will happen if a member leaves/is kicked from a participating clan:

Kicked:
  • If a main player is kicked they must promote a sub to a main player. They are also not allowed to add another player as a sub. ie: Main Player 3 is kicked, so Sub 1 is promoted to a Main Player. The team is then left with 7 members.
  • If a sub is kicked the team may not add another sub; they will remain with 7 members.

Leaves: (Membership Log will be required as proof)
  • If a main player leaves the team must promote a sub to a main player and has the privilege of adding another sub player.
  • If a sub leaves they may add another player to the sub team only.

Moderators - These people have the ability to host and overwatch matches. They have authority to disqualify teams if with good reason, manage the Tournament, and promote Overwatchers to Tournament MODS.

Additional Information
  • We encourage you to converse with the team you're facing when rescheduling rather than PMing a Tourney MOD to tell them. It will take a lot less time this way.
  • Please be respectful to everyone throughout the Tourney.
  • Only people playing in the match and MODS/Overwatchers are allowed to be in the game room.
  • The Final match(es) is in discussion of being broadcasted live. This might or might not happen.
  • The only guaranteed prize at the moment is 10K ZP to each member of the winning team, including subs. This will probably change later on.
