  • Did I belittle the American war effort? No.

Do Americans think they won it all by themselves? Yes.

No one cares you thinking you helped, but the vast majority of Americans think they did everything, when in fact, you turned up late and only entered the war voluntarily, when you got beaten at Pearl Harbour and War was declared on you.

We can't blame the people of America, as they have no History, you guys have to try and change it through Hollywood to make you feel better. :)

How was your 236th Birthday? My school was formed before the USA existed, and my house is older than your 'ancient' Statue of Liberty.

I never said the US did everything. The US did everything in the Pacific theatre and that is a fact.

The Russians were the ones that dominated the Eastern theatre, all the other European countries did jack ****.

No history? Had a little chuckle there.

I also find it funny how Europeans think their history is superior, when in fact Asian history is the superior one.
  • How is having a longer/shorter history relevant? Lol. UK has a longer history than the US but that doesnt make me think better of it. In fact a lot of british history is pretty repulsive...
  • Mentions America in Vietnam.

    "AMERICA WON!"

THE God or "God" as in some unexplainable force?

    curious

    Yes

if Evolution is indeed "truth" it requires an unexplainable force that started life, and before that the Universe. None of that happens out of no where.

Even if you consider the theory of multiple parallel universes based on the two waves of energy/matter planes or even with the circular plane, it requires that "something" made it.

I believe that "something" is God.
  • The truth of the matter is that the US didn't enter the war voluntarily, they had war declared on them, when Japan bombed Pearl Habour.

It was Feb 1943 by the time the Americans had their first major contact with Germans on land, in North Africa (which went heavily in favour of the Germans).

Before then, the Battle of Britain had been won, which lead to the indefinite suspension of all German plans to invade Britain, the Axis forces had been forced back across North Africa, and were left holding onto Tunisia. The Axis had lost control of the Mediterranean, and the Italian navy had been pretty much destroyed, the Germans had lost the Battle of Stalingrad to the cost of half a million men. (whoever won Stalingrad won WW2).

All of that happened without a single American shot being fired at a German.

Last time I checked, it was more of an agreement that if Germany didn't go through its invasion of Russia, there would have been a greater chance of the Normandy invasion to fail.

But without the American intervention in the European theater of war it would have been a long war of attrition and a similar repeat of WW1.

And lets not forget the Pacific theater of war, where like 85% of that part of the world was fought just US troops.

In my world the Canadian men and women who gave their 'All' during the war, some paying the ultimate price, will never be Forgotten! Never be belittled and Never Ever be treated as anything but equal amongst all the HEROES who helped make our world the 'World' we live in today.

What if there is no "something" at all and we can't tell what is true and what is not? We perceive things as cause and effect, before and after. But what if that is merely perception? What if, for example, everything that ever happened is actually happening simultaneously, yet our minds filter it by creating the concept of "time"? And moreover, we cannot take off this filter, so that we cannot even imagine time not existing? #KantSwag
