Again, no improved sniper rifle will ever be a GP crate. Even if it only has a +5 ammo and a new skin, it would already qualify as an improved sniper rifle, and thus become a ZP crate.
So, again I'll ask you, what will make people want to buy this Dragunov of yours over a DSR-1 Rusty, a FR-F2 or an AWM Red Dragon, if it lacks in power compared to the other three?
In my opinion, the MSG90 is an improvement on the PSG-1 because it shoots quicker and has a better scope. That is of course, in my opinion, so that is what I base it by.
The Dragunov is not better than the ZP snipers because it is not a 1-hit kill. So, it gets degraded to be a GP crate.
Does this make sense to you or do you want me to explain it again? -
The whole point of asking for feedback is to get people's help in making a good idea better. And that's exactly what I'm offering. So he has no reason to be afraid of replying back. If he only make this thread to get his idea liked, he started it for the wrong reasons.
That is exactly why I put "DISCUSS", so it could be DISCUSSED and made better. It is not a better idea to make it a ZP crate. Only to keep it at a GP crate, because it is not a 1-hit (at all times) capable gun.

You're saying that a re-skinned GP sniper rifle isn't possible because it has never been done before. Hey, Remember back before the RPK-Gold came out people were all like "Lololol a Gold gun won't ever be sold as a crate gun. It was always be a coupon!" I think the same goes for a re-skinned Dragonuv.
You're obviously bias towards having a new ZP sniper. That is YOUR opinion. Yours and yours alone. What gives YOU the right to tell Flavors that it won't EVER happen? are you a Dev? Who made you God of the CF forums? I don't see in the forums rules anywhere where it states "Whatever Frecklez says, Goes." Geeze, Get off your pedistal.
I think this is a good idea and will be a good addition to the GP Crate section.

And the scope looks fancier, but isn't better in any way. It still does nothing more than zoom in on a target. And firing faster doesn't make it better either. Especially with the amount of recoil that comes with it.
Its not whether or not it is a 1-hit kill that decides whether it becomes a ZP crate or a GP crate. You see, +5 ammo for a sniper rifle literally DOUBLES the amount of ammo a sniper rifle has per magazine, and thus cutting the amount of reloads in half. This is a very heavy perk, and that's why it will never be handed out for free.

i didnt say it would be. i just say theres a first time for everything so you never know. but yeah im sure it would be zp gun. but a dragunov wouldnt be bought alot anyway. because its not a one hit sniper so when its 2 hits for a sniper people just buy it to get it.like the m700 is 2 hits but its fast and the dragunov is 2 hits and slow....Still highly doubt that this will be one of those times. -

Okay, Ma'am. Define the logical thinking you are trying to enforce? What do you mean golden guns have nothing to do with it? Its the same basic thought that you are trying to suggest. The fact that because its never been done before doesn't mean it isn't going to happen.
Here is some logical and factual thinking and proof.
The Dragonuv is Piece of crap sniper rifle in real life and in FPS. It has never been a one hit kill in any sort of FPS game. Call of Duty was the first to make it a OHK. Only because of the perk they created "Stopping Power". Even then, It was a one shot kill into the Stomach or mid section of the torso. Hm, Doesn't that sound like Crossfire's Dragonuv? Nah, By your logical thinking (lack of it) it HAS to be better. For some reason you want it to be a OHK with better accuracy. If that was even possible, They would have to change the guns entire structure. The "AK-47" style that it is famous for is its own demise. The barrel isn't wide enough to take a high volocity round like you're suggesting. They would have to change the ENTIRE gun. Basically making it new. But this is CF... They tend to make the guns exaggerated and over powered. So, You are right on the side of "They would have to make the gun 100HP shot.". You are just wrong on the "have to" They don't "have to" do that. They can if they wish. But it would completely be a downer in my opinion. I use the Dragonuv for fun purposes. I love to gamble "Is it going to be a 99 or a 100 HP shot?" It's fun. I'm a decent sniper. So, I hit whatever I intend to kill. You however seem to be on the... less skillful side. You have admited it time after time again. You can't deny that. So, Have you even asked yourself "I want this gun to be a 100 HP shot because I can't get kills without it"? You ma'am are indeed Bias. Just because you say you're using "Logical thinking" Doesn't mean you're actually using it.
The Dragonuv would lose its Dragonuv personality if you made just like the AWM, DSR, or any other one hit kill snipers. Thats reality. -

If you haven't been reading Andre's (Flavors') posts, He is saying his personal preference and desire would for it to NOT be a 1 shot. The Dragonuv's character is defined by its result. You have NOT been motivating him to do anything. You're more like bullying him into thinking the way you want it to be.

Alright, define the difference between "constructive criticism" and "bullying". Yes, one is to better the other person, but I think you would need to know Andre' personally before you're going to actually make an impact.

You know?I'm just trying to get him to think about his own idea. There is nothing wrong in that. Anyone can say "Oh, I want an improved version of gun X". However, it takes more thought to make something that sounds good in theory work in practice. And that's what I'm trying to make him realize.
Developers are not going to consider a suggestion if they fear it to be unpopular. Like it or not, but Smilegate is a business. And a business is in it for the money. And they won't make money off a product that doesn't sell, because people have more favorable options to choose from.
