Hack watch twitter

This might be a weird decision, but I wonder if it will work.

A twitter feed for hackers in CF. We all know that hack waves come in...waves, and we all know that if there are too many hackers, we might as well go on minecraft. So what I'm proposing is some sort of hack watch on twitter, updated by me or an active player on their twitter to suggest hack levels. Hack levels go like this;

Green- Virtually no hackers, most QQing goes to pros and luckers/scarlight Syndrome.

Yellow- Starting to see hackers, very rare, around 1 in ~100 games, kicked before major impact on game.

Orange- Hackers more regular, 1~10 games, hackers not kicked, ignorance increases, reporting seems worthless. Evidence of Hack breakout (eg-new hack released that bypasses systems)

Red- Hackers in every game, hard to kick modes (eg TDM where haks get unnoticed) full of hackers, no patches and constant forum QQing and leaving.

Black- Hopefully we never see this.

This was originally designed for people that like FFA before there was kick vote, but couldn't play it once there were hackers. However, with exams and IRL issues, I forgot about it. Now that it's nearing a draw, I would like to see if this would work or sink faster than the barett in CF NA.

  • a bit complicated because people cannot ever be sure of hacking... but +1 for me...

    sorry for my english...+1

I agree. Why would I want to open 1 extra thing before I play CF. Such a hassle.

Just make your own thread on these forums and update it to whatever code you think it is.

    It would be deleted.
  • Would be impossible to have any logic in it, the majority would be opinionated or going on own personal experiences rather than the general audience.

We could try and get a large range of opinions...However, speaking for experience, I'll try to ignore who says that there are hacks 24/7. Since in most the games, it's those that can play better that get called hacks. I'll try and look for the most obvious ones eg-aimbot/shoot through walls.

I'm sorry but the Echo Server isn't the general audience...

For this to be efficient, I would split the code up between servers Alpha/Bravo/Charlie will be one section, Delta/Foxtrot be another, West will have it's own, South will have it's own, Echo doesn't need it, then a section for the UK servers and may the force be with you if you try to clan war..

I do agree though that hackers should be more notarized than what they are now.. I also believe somewhere (maybe wikipedia), that there should be a list of possible clans that hack so we at least have an idea of who to look for.

?? Not sure how echo came into this..

Ignore that, I'm confused, but if we could have each server's representative. I (will) play UK servers a lot after my exams, so it's fair to gauge on the hackers. And I will keep it to my strictest ideals that the hacks I gauge in the servers are blindingly obvious haks, such as shoot through walls and aimbots. Since I'm criticized most of the time to be haking (eg shooting a "still" ghost must be hacking, right? nevermind the fact that I can hear their darth vader breathing from one metre away, that would be too obvious!) I'm usually more critical when someone yells KIK HAK in game.

That being said, I don't play Alpha since my lag there is terrible, so I stick to the UK.
  • -1

I can notice these things myself. The delay in my judgement would be hardly slower than the delay it takes me to check the tweet.
  • Considering the majority of my opponents swear I'm hacking, -1.
I get kicked enough with out people knowing who I am, don't need undeserved infamy because dozens of players can't admit they don't know how to play.
  • It will always be red. Maybe green for 6 hours after patch. Though i did see haks 2 hours after a patch.

It's not always red, you just think that because you suck.

In all seriousness, it's not red. It isn't even red now.
