A lan?

also if there aren't enough teams willing, it won't be possible
or
5 v 5 RANDOM draft selection process, just to get things started (which i personally think no one would like)
If this first lan is a success, there will most likely be a 2nd and hopefully there will be enough teams to show up to the 2nd.
Klan kaos, Lifeline, Hammertime, and i believe LPK would participate in this, how many teams would you need ? -

I would hope for 24 (it is a long shot)
12 teams on each side of the bracket
20 computers, so 2 matches can be played at once
2-3 day event

24 teams will most likely not happen; 16 seems more reasonable.
I'm not sure if there were ever 16 teams filled with adults that could travel in crossfire at once any who but, if this ever happens would be a fun filled weekend! -
There are plenty of good Canadian based teams (mostly Asian) that i wouldn't mind coming that i have played in clan server etc, they're good enough to compete, it would be a nice way to introduce people to the competitive side,
true or we can just run pugs for fun in t.o -

Honestly 16 teams is still pushing it.... -
I don't know about some of you, but I'm not particularly fond of having to shell out a lot of money for a plane ticket and other stuff.
All up to you, do you want have a chance to win the prize money and have a great weekend with the people on your team that you'd most likely wouldn't meet face to face ? It would be a great way to tighten the bond between teams and most likely liven this game up, get people hyped about playing crossfire again like back '09-early'10. -
afaik lans aren't social events and i don't see any people coming all the way from central/west/south of the US to play a draft which they could have done online...
save yourself the effort.
since when was a tournament style bracket made of teams a draft?
