March of the Ghosts II - Clan Match Tournament Results
Attention all Ghost Mode enthusiasts!
The second March of the Ghosts tournament has completed. This particular league really only shares the name in common with its predecessor, but we're happy to say that hundreds of clans were able to participate and the level of competition was at its best!
As a disclaimer to start before the drama kicks off, we would like to say that we learned a lot about automating the tournament structure with this. And this will only lead to more events and better structured events in the future! We were glad that so many clans were able to participate and despite some dark spots we're going to come out with a couple of great clans on top, rounded out by a top 10 field of well known competitive Ghost Mode clans!
The match will be 4v4 however you can have any number of clan mates ready as substitutes within the match. Z8Games will be observing the match.
Z8Games reserves the right to make a final ruling on any situation. Drama will not be tolerated.
Now, without further ado, the winners!

- Winners will be contacted today via their Clan Leader via the support system.
- Clan Leaders will have 48 hours to contact Z8Games with a ideal times to play on April 6th and April 7th. (submit times for both days)
- Once communication has been established Z8Games will pick a time based on the schedules submitted on either April 6th or April 7th to play the final game at.
- The times will be communicated to the teams and each team must verify their attendance.
- If neither clan communicates via Z8Games support page then the original records will stand. If one team communicates only then that team will win the grand prize.
- The above applies for the final match as well. Both clans must show, if only one does they will win the grand prize.
The match will be 4v4 however you can have any number of clan mates ready as substitutes within the match. Z8Games will be observing the match.

LOL, such a joke tournament....
That's your opinion.
All that matters is that some clans managed to get a ~100% win percentage, something that your clan evidently didn't do because you're saying that it's a joke tournament.
Congratulations to OldLegends, I'm personally very close with that clan, and hope they win! -

Not in a clan bic boi. IGN: IudiceScar, pinetree is dead now. o.0
Got sick of it after the first week and quit Stalkers.
Didn't even bother with it after.
If you honestly think dodging clans to get a perfect win percentage and playing people who do not understand the mode is a tournament then I'd check your head. -

This^, I wasn't expecting that a clan war against a hack clan counted. Now we know how z8-Tournaments work.
I ain't gonna start a Drama as stated on first post, but I want to know if losing against a clan that had a blatant aimbot and wall hack is legit. -

Yeah, loosing to ha,ckers is a joke.
Its funny how u mods think that you guys know the game, but only go on the forums. -

it was just an strategy to make it to the finals? even tho it caused alot of drama cuz it seemed unfair for alot of peoplem but yea most of the gm community are wondering what kind of respect will the winners get for doing what they did. -

they win katana not respect,
Talon's tourney will determine the "Best" clan this year. -
That's not a "joke". The "jokes" are the clans that "could easily win", but didn't participate.
Seems like people agree with me more than you. People that actually play the mode and are actually good at it.
Of course, you're a mod so you can't really say anything bad about.
Not sure if you're following the rules or just trying to look pretty but this tournament is a joke.
And I'll take that back, 3 notable clans. I'll consider OL a notable clan except for the fact they dodged before and after the tournament.
Gods and 2-3 others carry that clan in Ghost mode, GR side at least. -

Not sure if we're going to be able to do it on such a short time. Ultimately it would end up being decided based on what time the match ends up being.
If we can, we will, however at this point it is not looking likely that we will be able to. We will however be more prepared to do such a thing in future events. -
true the ha,ckers destroyed the event..
clan like oldLegends are just lucky that they didnt play against ha,cker
Isnt a skill event, its just based on luck...
Actually, we were very careful about who we played, we looked their clan up on the clan page and checked all the players profiles.
It's not luck, it's being smart. -
WE WON!? :O!
Yayz.
Alex, why you being mean? It was fun ((:
Look at my last post. - -
This tournament was a joke, it would've been way better if it wasn't half assed and actually looked like a tournament.
But good luck to you guys, I respect you guys mainly cus of you and Gods. -

Unfortunately the records have to count. The problem with automating the tournament comes with the fact that we can remove clans from winning, but it becomes more difficult to remove those specific games from record.
If we ran a non-automated tournament the signups would last about 9.78 seconds and chances are your clan (or any clan here) wouldn't be involved in the tournament at all. And then you would be still complaining that these clans are filled with nobodies and unskilled players.
This is where outside tournaments come in to play. Video Game companies look to automate competitive environments for the entire game population. It does not make sense for a game company to find a way for only 5 clans to compete. Considering there are 100's available. And those 100's competing in a bracket-style tournament would take 2-3 years with the man power we have to run. Automating the process allows us to run these kinds of things more often.
That is not stopping other places from doing more 'legitimate' if you want to call it that, tournaments on their own. As I've already talked about in the competitive thread, the tools for the game are already there, nothing is stopping anyone from starting a closed tournament.
