(9) Razor .vs. (14) BlackPirates - BlackPirates Win.
[Loyal] .vs. SouthLand - SouthLand wins due to forfeit.
Ganja .vs. GHunter - Ganja wins due to forfeit.
Bane. .vs. [E]-Force - Bane. wins due to forfeit.
Shank .vs. Sux - Double elimination.
Team OMOH .vs. Dust Devils - Team OMOH wins due to forfeit.

Only 1 game was played in 18 teams.
And i was wondering if the number of observers would be enough, now I got the answer.
I hope we can fix the problem in next tourny. I suggest we could confirm the attendence right before the schedule and bracket being posted. By doing this, we can eliminate some teams in advance and make the bracket more fair. -

It's something I definitely took into consideration after such a result.
I'm looking into better ways for teams to communicate without eliminating team privacy.
I also know that interest might have been lost due to the time passed since registering. (Something that really couldn't be helped.)
I'll likely be making a thread for the community's input after the bracket is finished. -
well talon.. same plans? o-o auto-win doesn't sound competitive at all -.-
Unfortunately if I don't disqualify teams, the bracket won't move at all.
I consider this tournament a Beta. There's alot of things I didn't consider that cropped up unexpectedly.
Even something a simple as not being able to PM passwords to leaders for the match because I can only send 20 a day.
So, I'm willing to take the loss despite the demoralizing aspect. There's still a number of teams that are playing. -

There was nothing wrong to disqualify teams that didn't show up in default time. It was the leaders' fault to have neglected the schedule. If they were well prepared, they should keep an eye on the post in the forum.
BTW, I hope you could stop that sh*t MOTG next year. Try to contact z8 side and save the world, Talon. You can make a much much better GM tourny instead of it. -

Actually, the last map the UK and NA will face off will be Metro.
Lost Relics is the last map for the NA division, if there is enough teams to even make it to that match. -

About UK Bracket&Finals
Now there are 6 UK teams.Judging from colour in Bracket,
Southland vs Ganja
Bane. vs BlackPirates
Team OMOH vs Hide&Seek
Then? What about the UK finals? The winning teams fight against each other? Or??
How 3 teams become 1?
Depending on how the results play out, one of the teams will get a pass into the next round for free. Much like Purgatory did for NA's first round.
This is assuming of course that all these teams show up.
Then after two of the teams fight the match, they will play the one that got the free pass to determine the finalists of the UK division. -

Now assuming like this: There are 6 teams left in UK.
Match 2:
A vs B, A wins
C vs D, C wins
E vs F, E wins
Who will get free pass?
Now assuming E get free pass, then the bracket will become like this:
Match 3:
A vs C, A wins
E free pass
Match 4:
A vs D, the winner meet up NA team
So in UK devision, we still need to play 4 match. -

I know it wasn't flawless but this tournament was perfectly planned out imo except for the LR part.
Anyways may I suggest not to have sign ups last so long? Look at all the teams.

Well, maps were determined by overall side balance from what I could asses. Such as it being a GR or BL map.
I knew many were going to hate LR.
It wasn't intended for it to be the last map for each division. Had things been as shown, Bio would have been the finals.
But hey, this is all stuff I'll be asking after its over.
Maps, weapons, times, scheduling. etc.
But signups weren't meant to last that long, but considering I couldn't run the tourney in the intended month, I didn't bother to close them.
As we can see the number of teams were significantly reduced from DQ's anyways.
