we all came from source and ****d everyone in this game, fell short at WEM due to replacing our best fragger with someone who played the game for a few weeks + oddly enough drew didn't frag for whatever reason, which was fine it happens.
Then for WCG I brought over

Jam
ViNX
Torrr
Who did extremely well, we were beating everyone but LPK at the time, nobody was a challenge to prepare for WCG. Then Aks, FMB, ViNX went to LL because they thought they would do better and Torrr, Jam and I went back to source.
We also can't forget about PoloPRO, he was rough at the start but picked up the game just fine and is better then 90% of this community.
So source players don't "think" they are good at CF. We come from a game that requires better flashes/smokes/teamwork.
To play CF you need to learn how to use interp in your favor and the game is 88% aim, the rest is just luck of counter-stratting and calling the calls. -
Most of the players that said things like that then could not back it up didn't do very well in source. Anyone that can do well in one game can often do well in another given they have the time to commit to it. Any team that could practice BASIC strategies did well in CF. Its not that they came from source, its that they understand how to win.

You guys may have been relatively good at one point, but what monstar was suggesting, was that it took a few years for CF players to develop, and matching them against players with years of experience so early on in their development, showed no real SKILL on any of the Source players' parts in 2010. -

you realize that 3/5 of the players you mentioned had been playing crossfire since early open beta or sooner, right? sype is a good player but he wasn't instantly good. a huge part of why he developed as fast as he did was because he was playing with people that had been playing for crossfire for years.Then for WCG I brought over

sorry to burst your bubble, but your best fragger has been cheating in cf as much as tastylimes.
also, all those source players from ll are not amazing, they are average players tbh. you dont have to come from source to be amazing, you can come from sf and be amazing in this game, its not too hard -

Going off of the statistics, I was LPK's best fragger during WOGL s1.

source is completely different than crossfire anyways. there's not really a good comparison between the games. crossfire is all about individual aim, and source is mainly about flashes/positioning. it's no different than cs players *****ing about cod in that "all you need to do is hold mouse1 to win".
As far as WCG is concerned, it was already known that crossfire would be supported in some form by this date last year. -

I agree with you doop ol' boy. There really is no good comparison. A great example is how Hammertime sucks at source and below average players are amazing at it. They're two diffrent games. But still! What if we had the source ak?
I would love the source weapons or 1.6 weapons + cf gameplay. The weapons in cf are lacking, imo. -

I agree. The m4 is too easy,and people can awp while moving at the same time. It's unfathomable how people could not be even slightly above average at this game. -

I am professional bhop.
We can out aim most of the people in that game unless we get flashed(all game). Not sure why you're even mentioning it, considering we play it casually and I have more hours bhopping than actual pug/scrim time. BTW you and your big boned cousin suck at all games. -

Some call him fluffy. I heard the american community bailed from 1.6. Can anyone confirm?
Dunno we're just killing time until cs.go comes out. Hopefully everyone leaves 1.6 so i can claim the prize pot for myself without having to waste 10 years practicing it.
