OT: ESG is probably the only league that will possibly keep this game alive, but then again I doubt the competitive scene will be alive when CS:GO is out, however I could be wrong.

TBH i just don't see how they can completely walk away from all PC Games Starcraft2, 1.6/CS:Go in the future maybe, and LoL. Crossfire i could understand, but just saying pz to all PC Games seems unlikely.

Eh to each his own. Do what you enjoy. Competitive gaming isn't what it used to be. If you're more comfortable fragging in Echo-8 instead of ESEA, continue doing it. Why waste time going up the ladder in source or 1.6? There's a reason why invite players are recycled every season. Not everyone can play at that level.
