  • My suggestion for the speed.

    0 person - Not moving.

1 person - half crouch speed.

    2 person - crouch speed.

    3 person - walking speed.

So you would need a max of 3 people next to the cart to have it moving at full speed and anymore would do nothing. The remaining 5 people can kill people and help defend the cart while 3 stay on top of the cart.
  • BL would be at a disadvantage if they spawn in the same place each time, as they would be further away from it, and Gr would be closer to more it moves.

But if BL was set to spawn near the cart, they would easily overwhelm GR.

One extra suggestion : GR can try to plant C4 (Ninja'ing) into the cart. And then cover the bomb til its booms.
  • I love the idea. It reminds me of Rush mode in BF3, where you have to eliminate COMs before moving to the next stage. I definitely want to see this in game. I want to see people working together for a single objective, rather than people going for kills.
  • Meh, it seems like it would be a mode that will be forgotten within a few months.

Not to mention hundreds of "noobs" will have no idea how to play the game and ruin it for everyone.

Well, I'd say many modes we have are forgotten already. Examples being MM. and HM. Nobody does it unless they are desperate enough to farm GP.

If you've played TF2, you would see how it never gets boring, in fact I enjoy it more then SnD.

    Yes, I like this ;).

If you've played TF2, you would know that it's actaully really fair. As people on BL (Pushing the cart) die, they will have to run back to the cart before it starts rolling back (losing distance to goal). As for the GR, as they die, it gives the BL somewhat of a chance to atleast push the cart some distance, because if somebody is crouching by a cart going slow, it's an easy target. Teamwork would be needed to push this cart, as let's say 5 are shooters, and 3 are cart pushers.

Hehe, Rush is the only mode I play in BF2/BF3.
  • Nice idea :D
And where's the switch in MM Mall ? :p
  • But the thing is, we don't have that kind of weaponry, not to mention "classes". It would be completely different.

MM/HM are actually played a lot. Only mode that was forgotten was escape.

Being different is what crossfire is. What other game crashes 90% of the time? Trololol.

Well, classes aren't needed. We have snipers that 1 hit (good for GR). And we have people who rush with sprayers (good for gr, and BL). It's basically like escape mode with the two sides, (as one finishes in a certain time), the other has to do it quicker, or they lose.

It'd be even'd out, im sure the developers would figure a way to be fair and different in a good way at the same time.

Edit: gotta go to class now, so if I don't respond for 6-9 hours, im in class.

From the 20 minutes I have played TF2.
I'm pretty sure people in CF die A LOT faster.

    BOOM. TB in 5 seconds.

Then there is the problem with the nades.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM.

    8 nades BL dead

Maybe in your server, but in general, I guess you don't have a clue about this. If you had, you would realise that HM and HMX are played quite actively (I agree with you on MM, to my mind it has been superseded by HM as it offers everything that MM has with even more possibilities). As someone said before, the only neglected game mode that I'm aware of is escape.
I can say this because I play HM 90% of my time in CF and know a lot of people who do the same...

    best regards,
