Well from what I've heard so far this seems very interesting and something I would like to be involved in. Although I am not the leader or even LT of Guantanamo I think I'm safe to say that the clan would be interested in this. I can talk to the leader and see what he has to say but I dont see any reason why he wouldn't go for it
Hopefully I can also persuade other GM clans that I have friends in to also take apart in this -

there is 1 or 2 days that i love to play cross fire the most, and those days are the days after patch.
you can play TD map and actually you dont need to worry that suddenly some waller/speeder/walkLikeAmouse will appear!

Thank you, I hope you know that you are welcome to bring the GM clan along. You can come by TS3 anytime, many of the mods do, it is because of their hands on people friendly aproach that gave me back my faith in cross fire. mod iceman and mod9 have helped us with the hard times and encouraged us not to lose faith. So thanks guys. -

There are forums on it. Please note that the forum on the site is a private forum for the intended use of the coalition. Respect for each other is the name of the game.
We even have a radio station where you can listen while you read. LOL -
Are pubs included in this endeavor? Or solely for scrimming?
Maybe there is a clan that prefers more to pub around than to be completely constitute and only clan war.
So like not only clans meet and greet each other, but also play TOGETHER in small groups in pubs.
Definitely im a LT of B.U.D and once this thing gets kicked off i will be hosting GM turnys for 100k zp prizes.
we will be having forumer rooms type deal being posted on our Private forum server channel ext. there will be scrims taking place pubs all the good stuff daily missions whatever we will be having a blast and hopefully more LIGIT clans will join. -

This is and has been happening for more than 6 months. Infact it has been going so well that we feel the need to share it with other diserving legit clans. -

I'm not too active on Charon side nowdays. Just so everyone knows. I'll let Bear and the other LTs of the clan take care of this.
I support the idea and i like it alot. Sauna members might drop in some of the rooms and such at some point.

The goal here is to communicate any concerns about players. Share info: and have fun playing LEGIT cross fire games, scrim, pub, clan war. Respect in game is awesome.

If the coaliation clan can be listed as clan member and player together, there is a great chance many will be in the same pub game. This needs z8's support. When I post the similar idea two years ago, I suppose z8 would lead and build it --- each clan in this association would have a special tag, to tell everyone that they are more reliable than others. When clan failed to block hackers, they will be removed from the association and need to reapply (to increase z8's income). z8 works maintains this association, and leagues (coalliation clans) joins it.
Then a room would be more controlable because we have more players that can be trusted. Kick hackers are easier. And an ally can build reputation through this process.
A room can also be evaluated by the percentage of players in high reputation allies, to tell the player how likely a hacker can survived the vote kick. -

Yes, it is a blame. And the fact is z8 is really slow in progress to shield hackers. I know the staff are trying hard, but it seems the strategy is not quite correct. Did z8 ever try to heat the community up to fight hackers?
Besides the complain, I think it is time for z8 to support the idea to add a page to list such allies, add some tags to the players and clans, and do interactive with them about the hacker report in these clans. Many hacker report can be distributed to clans/allies now and z8 staff only need to handle the challenge to the decision, this would lower the burden of the review staff and make ban faster.
And I would give my praise to z8 for the improved replay system. However, there is still place to make improvement.
And another comments, when you think I was simply complain, you are wrong, I made suggestions, but never see any GM ever want to response. I posted the similar idea in 2010, wishing z8 can rule the clans so that at least more player in clans would be less possible to have hackers in a room. Till I saw this similar idea implemented by the community, I have not seen something similar done by z8. This is the evidence I make my statement. Many players can run into the similar idea to make it better even without reading others' thread, why the professionals can not pop up this idea.
And the way to ask player to send the complain to the xtrap or smilegate is really funny (see some stikcy). Even we buy a hp computer from walmart, we need just ask hp to replace it, why should player know the other company in the background? Wouldn't it looks better that player tells the problem here and your guys post it in Korean to smilegate forum? -

Our goal is to start taking responsibility as a community rather than placing blame.
A coalition that is based on respect, communication and leadership from all legit clans is a way to help. The website that is being built will give permissions to all clan leaders involved.
I offer our TS server as a meeting place tonight for the first round of discussions as to what clans should be in the coalition. If there are concerns about any clan please be respectful and tactful in your discussing the matter with each other,
Private rooms will be offered for people to talk openly and honestly.
If any clan interested but unsure has questions they are welcome to stop in and ask.
I will be on team speak until 11:30pm server time.

I agree they are trying their best, but maybe their effort are totally in a wrong way. In 2010, I posted and quarrelled with Saidin and MoD, about their attitude to reply the thread, and beg them to start a campaign in player base to fight hackers and increase the morality influence in the game. But I can see nothing change in this aspect. The idea you carried out is the first community effort to remedy z8's slow progress in this aspect. I agree I did more suggestion and complain than really do something. But at the time, I decided to be clanless, till at last the number of hackers persuades me to seek a reliable playmate base.
Put my argument with Saidin aside, I totally support your effort, and provide my thinking here.
1. The rules, how to qualify, how to communicate and when to kick a member clan/player should be set up. And the member clan must agree on some rules, e.g., strong language content, sometimes it is very tricky.
2. What is proper size to the ally should be, too many member clans might be a big problem to keep track. And the reputation might be damaged by several single member players' inproper behavier.
3. Ask for Saidin's support, add some field in webpage and database to promote it. Display some tag of the ally in clan and player page. If there is some in game modification to facilitate the member players, it would be very helpful.
4. You would expect many replay would be send to you to distribute to clans. That will take time. So how to maintain it is another issue, it is not one person can handled.
5. The idea need not be limited to a single game.

We are offering a way for legit clan leadership to communicate.
The responsibility falls on the leadership of each clan to respect each other and take this coalition seriously. Failing to respond or reacting irresponsibly to legitimate problems will lead to a revue of their willingness and ability to participate in the coalition.
Any problems between clan leadership, or break down in communication will be brought to the attention on the coalition(all the clan leaders) and mediation will be provided.
expelling of any clan from the list of legit clans can only be done after every effort has been made to help keep a clan legit. This would be taken very seriously. All clans in coalition must agree.
I do expect however that the expressed desire to be part of the coalition, is to have and keep our own clans clean of hackers. Each clan leader taking care of his own clan. -

The clan reps. will be given the power to post and view private forums.
Private forum posts are the best way to contact each other in a respectfull manor.
There is a registration page for any new clan to be considered.
Links on the website are being added to the clans home page on cross fire, making it easy to review. -
All legit clans are welcome to the coalition.
So far talks have opened up between clans and new rooms opened.
The website is up and working.
We have been visiting the vents and ts servers as info comes in from each clan.
Please feel free to stop in and ask questions.

This is one of the threads, in which i am impressed by. This by far is a very convincing thread, i myself play alot of clan wars and have been involved in many hacking clans. This might be one way that could fight off hackers, this would be something i would hope more clans would be forming into.
I SUPPORT, maybe even start a petition? Gather enough legit players as well as others and create a list so that we can promote reporting clan features. So that after the game we have an option to report bans sort of like support tickets but INGAME for once...
I think they should only do this for Clan wars, because in cw's it is where it matters the most. Most of the other games there are way too many hackers, and it would be a hastle for a small company like z8 to sort out each hacker. Plus the support tickets, so i assume its best to have only a clan report feature ingame... -

OT: I like the plan but for the business of not bashing people I won't name names. Plenty of clans on your list have hackusated me and other clan mates multiple times even to the point they say they won't play us because we cheat.
