maybe it's becouse of noobs and bad players thining they're good like you and slushy who have never played in a league and claim GM is competitive
I've played in more leagues than you've probably heard of, and yet you call me non-competitive?

yeah i look at it from a logical perspective unlike most GM people.

    1. we need to get more people interested in GM
    2. by doing that we cant troll and be dumb all the time
    3. we need to get small things going to start the ball rolling (drafts, cups, ect)
    4. we need to have a small trial league
    5. probably not even going to make it to step 4.

Best bet would be to get a community ran event like [CCC] was.

Ok doop i think its time someone says this to you.
Your a washed up player with a huge ego. You have had good times in cf and your well respected. But trolling on the forums doesnt make you look any better. To be honest if i were you i would just stop.

P.S: Having comeptitive experience will help you espcially because that game is like cf. It is an only shooter game with many of the same guns some are the same style of maps. So actually you are wrong again.

And another that would be a great idea to get a tournament up like that. And what do you know TalonBlaze is running one soon.

    I'm washed up? Please explain

I've played FPS games competitively since 2004. Playing other games just help you learn new ones faster, they don't make you any better. I've made invite in CS:S, I was banned from a league because "my stats were too high". CF plays nothing like CS.

If ESG's first season goes extremely well, it is highly probable to get something in there. Especially if it has something firm to stand on (TalonBlaze is doing).

i started ignoring slushy and ic's posts awhile ago. they do not represent competitive gm.

Don't worry, I played with =Hello Kitty= and PantherS. I used GM to learn tricks for SND. It was fun as well.

yeah we tried to get involved in ESL last spring but right before the cups were scheduled, half of the GM community quit and started playing LoL.

As in you aren't well known anymore as from what you use to be. You dont get on that much anymore.

And btw SF: means Soldier Front a game just like cf with similar maps lots of the same guns. It also helps you get better under pressure, and yes learning a game faster would help you. Also games like CS:S, CF, SF, Cod's have alot of the basic strats which alot of teams use, like rushing mid, rushing to one site, playing picks and that can help you get better by knowing strats.
And getting a banned from a league has nothing to do with what we are talking about.

You played with them? or were in them? cus i been in both those clans and i dont remeber you from any one of them.

Washed up means you don't have skill anymore, not that you aren't know...

I know what SF is. I considered playing it to go to korea because the style of aiming suits me, but decided against it due to not having enough time free. CS:S is nothing like CF, you can continue to think that all you want. If you disagree post up how you think CS:S is like CF, and I will post up how I think it isn't even comparable. Just to let you know I have 5 years of CS:S experience at a decent level.

All of the things you listed are terrible strats, and are more or less pug moves.

Played with; I had one of my alts on =Hello Kitty=, but my main was still on Area 51.
  • and as for slurpy and slushee playing for confound, props to them. it still has nothing to do with being good at crossfire.
  • i still have never heard of these kids yet ive been in comp GM for over a year...

Considering CS:S is alot more challenging then CF, and they have actually done leagues in it. Not sure if they placed well but again its experience to help you with other games that count.

Bt.w sLushy, and sLurpy without a doubt have more league expierience then you and have gone places and actually have played as expected.
And the aim isnt much diffrent then CF's

And not to break it to you but you have lost some of your skill...

First of all, Confound is a SF team (the one that went to sfwc) not a CS:S team. Secondly, I played CS:S since CAL s5. I still occasionally get steam messages about teams.

Post sLushy and sLurpies league experience, then I'll post mine. Confound has got last place at nearly every sfwc. I doubt they even played for them though.

Honestly i just said i played for FofX we beat Avast, TenPro in Texas, as well as many other teams.
It honestly shocks me how you have a rep, sometimes you can be stupid iCyyy has showed you up a few times and you then make stupid comments. I know you have a rep cus you went to Korea, but its getting old...

Nah, iirc they've always placed over the PH and VN teams.

hard to compete with a nation that takes the game 500x more seriously than you do.

iCyyy has showed me up no where? Please find me where he showed me up.
