Old AWM sound

Just wondering...when did the old awm sound dissapeared(in 2009 or 2010)? I mean it had a long echo after shooting...
And 1 more thing: I got a crossfire setup from 2009...If I install that cf and copy the awm sound from there to the new cf am I gonna get the old sound or some error?

I know what the thread is about I'm just saying the FR-F2 makes a long echoing sound when fired. So if you like the sound so much, get one. Or don't.

Long?..... I think it's barely noticeable....
And btw....even the reg. AWM had that echo...and I should spend hundreds of crates to get the FR-F2 ? No thx.....
