"Your Client is invalid version. re-install new client"

i have had this error since hero mode patch came out.. i have tried downloading and re-installing 5+ times, and still the same thing happens.. i have never had issues like this with crossfire before... the new launch box is fine but when i click "start" it gives me that error message, please help, i really want to play!
