More than likely it's because it's still a blueprint issue and an IF from their higher-ups.

Hes pretty much saying or heavily implying that this will now only be NA/UK and nothing else in the first link. The second link shows that the first was a complete falsification.

From what has been said - or even has been whispere out of ur company - ur contract with X-fire finishes at 2013... and what r u gonna do? R we gonna finally get the Steam system that will get all of that hakking kids out of our game?

I really want to believe that u get rid of the hacks but the rule
"If u buy zp in 7 days time from the incident, ban will be 3 days long" - I just want to ask, WDF!?

Including the fact that I am kind of person who simply runs across the servers playing at any room... all hacks I see, I report straight away - but what does it give if for next 5 months I see the same hacker in game?
I get it, ribbon taken away nothing more to do...
But let's say clans like TurkEmperial or Ex[C]use which in 50% don't have ribbons - over my whole "carrer" with CF I've reported few from each clan - that was clear wall shotting... and last time I've played clan match with the same hackers. The funniest thing is none of the have honorable for about 2 months

U say that u encourage us to help you... but when we help u, we get nothing back!


Well that was only one bad think that happened in CF...

The fact that servers are broken again - my normal ping is 15-18... but the servers went down during past few weeks and my actual ping for today is 200 - can u tell me whats this? A whole game laggz!

I seriously don't know what u r doing as a GM's and I am not interested - I mind my own businees, u mind ur business - but if u can't open the recrutation for GM's, get more of u lot to help out with all of it, cuz we clearly can see that our GM team cannot do all of it in 5 or 6.

Going to close this thread since it's no longer necessary. We announced that there was IP restrictions coming to Cross Fire for regions outside of NA/UK. And there is plenty of reading on the hacking situation and what we are doing about it.

It is not our responsibility to police what you assume and not assume will happen with that information. The unfortunate problem is that you immediately assumed that everyone outside of the region will be blocked.

CF deals with global licenses. NO publishing company has restrictions for regions without a CF License. Players in those areas are free to join any version of Cross Fire.

Because you have a biased opinion on the worlds population that borders racism you immediately assumed that the game would be limited to only players from regions you decided were ok. This unfortunately for you is not how it happens.

We pass all the information that we can to you, the user. It is not our fault if you don't read the full information or interpret it in your own words or context.

In the end, IP restrictions WERE introduced, there was no lie told. They just weren't introduced to the places that you assumed would be. Also note that at this time negotiations for CF South America were being finalized. And while we can't speak to future plans on any IP restrictions, at the moment there are none with South America.


Managing a global game such as this is not as easy as just turning on or off various countries around the world. We provide information as best we can, but once again, it is not our responsibility to teach the public how the f2p games industry works.
