2012 is here. I don't know about you, but I'm still getting used to saying it! CF Events continue no matter the year, and no matter how cold the weather gets! If you're looking to warm up this week then you're out of luck! You must brave the cold snowy weather of Alaska and get in game to win some extra prizes!

Play 3 games of Alaska EM each day this week (Monday - Friday) and win a Frost Week Prize Pack!

Get out of your Igloo, pack up the sled and get ready for some winter action only in Cross Fire!

*please note that the 3 games must be completed each day between 12:01am EST and 11:59pm EST (total of 15 games throughout the week)

*The event page will be up to check your progress for the 3 games each day. And on the final day you can check the event page for your prize reward.

*Matches must be min 9 rounds, with 6 people min and you must be in the game for 5 minutes (or until the game completes) to get the credit for the match.

It's nice to see events are back in game, any reward it's always welcome and it brings more fun to the game and also motivation to play, but yeah indeed a ribbon would be awesome ;p

Just checked my status after playing in 4 Alaska games and event page states "You have played in 0 Christmas EM games! Should say Alaska! Hope we get credit for games played today!

I'm just double checking...but this has to be 9 or 13 rounds correct?? The 5 round games will not count?

There is a disclaimer in bold orange on the event page:

The Event Page Updates approximately once per hour. If you check your reward immediately after leaving the game it will not display properly. Please be patient.

As for ribbons, there will be more soon don't worry!

So technically, I could just join 9 round game where the score is 8-8, play the round and still get it to count as 1 game? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Rats, Alaska, my least favorite EM map. Oh well, I might go for the snowman hat (assuming it gives EXP+).
