Well the problem is that in this game, there are no local servers to play on.
In counter strike, if your ping is over 50 then you need to play on a closer server. -

again though if these players are the best from the most powerful regions in the world shouldnt they be able to deal w/ a little ping fluctuation?

Its not an issue of "dealing with it"
At the upper tier of competition, when the players know how to shoot and all that jazz, the player with the lower ping will win.
If players could just suck it up, then there would be no need for huge lan events and teams that travel around the world to play games on LAN. -

not if you continually outplay the other person, but that gets to be exhausting and impossible
i know from experience, i pinged 200-300 for a season of cevo-m. I still did good and top fragged every now and then, but you have to work alot more and play with near 0 mistakes to do that. also awping or using a scope is out of the question because of the deal with your scope -

When I played a bit in westcoast server with pings 120+
I've gotten a lot of; WTF U KIL ME AND DID NOT C U
Thanks to this game engine. Having a high ping is a huge ass advantage for peeking.
The better team/players will still be the better team/players in that "upcoming euro server". -
hihihihi owned
Let's face it I still think that Europeans are better my argument is that the average age is 30 years while what he has aericanilor is around 18 years simply have more experience behind nostru.Iar another argument I had talked to friends on Skype Romanian living in Canada and say in the game especially at the corners: I have I seen so I was already dead keep out what he says about the difference in ping them properly so there was talk about this subject until a way to have a server where to be equal> and would be one thing to be and you in my place on those days when I ping 230 and go like hell game and used a 2 loaders 10 DMG person and do you see if you still smile: D -

Having 32ping doesn't make you an automatic winner because of low ping. I played a game in css in aim_texture This guy with 300ping was dominating with Awp/AK-47, with players shouting. "Lagger", "GTFO" Etc. Made most of them look stupid. 100-150 is consider Playable and stable ping to make good competition with you. I even saw players with 200steady ping on a rampage in-game in Crossfire
I have not seen any difference with 50ping vs 100-150ping, Seriously.
Let me clarify that, I haven't seen any difference in Game play in general. -
"In multiplayer online video games, ping refers to the network latency between a player's computer, called a client, and the game server (or another client). You're telling me that having a lower ping really makes no difference? -
