North America vs. The World CF Tournament
How would you guys like it if z8 games created this tournament. I'm talking like an All-Star tournament where 7 top players from North America and 7 top players from anywhere outside North America battle it out.
We could have some sort of ballot of voting for each respective team on the forums with 2 backups chosen by the team's leader.
This will not only increase forum usage but the community will come together and everyone's voice can be heard in who they want representing them.
In order to reduce "vote fixing" we can also have a neutral representative (moderator such as bruce, blindrob etc. who are very much aware of the players in this game) to give the thumbs up on the players if they actually deserve a spot.

hehe, how would the u.s get owned? it seems that some people forget that we are the fat ones who sit around all day playing call of duty and crossfire. its practically a job for some of us. and it would definatly be hard to decide who should play becuase everyone has different stats and different opinions. good idea though :P

Well the same ping do not think America would have a chance to be honest with us with pings of 170 and 200 we will fight the peer with pings of 10 and 30 so should not be questioned of course Europe the winner win: D -
North America has more countrys in it then just the U.S. ( just an FYI to all you ego maniacs out there :P )
When original Half-Life was huge tournaments for various MoDs of HL would be played with National teams hand picked from the best players in each country to compete for bragging rights.
I had the honor of being on the Fire Arms League, team Canada afew years back we placed 1st in North America and 1st in the world ( being mostly eruo countrys at the time)
So dont count out those crazy canucks

Euro players in this game would not win, period. They do not stand a chance against our ping. Though they can pull off some extremely gay reg and warps it won't be enough.
That does not mean they would win with the same ping as ours. Get that through your heads. Just because people have a low ping doesn't mean that is the only reason they are good. They are the normal players, you high pings are not. So if someone with a low ping is absolutely owning your face, you having a lower ping will not save you.
Do not argue against that fact, because it is just that; a fact. -
Anyone can be as good or better. Some are born and raised with more talent at first and that gives them a headstart, but anyone can be just as good at anything as another person. If they want to be.
Race, Gender, age does not matter. Obviously handicaps do not count. -
It would be fun, I would be happy to represent the UK and EU side. The problem with this is you will get too many ping related QQing and problems. Why not arrange this in due time "IF" Z8 get their act together and bring UK servers.
Then you can play one half on EU territory (where YOU will get owned)
And one half on normal Canadian territory (where WE will get owned but not as badly as you because we are used to a high ping anyway)

If it comes for fun, it doesn`t matter who wins and who losses as long as everyone involved is having fun. That is what matters, right?
Try playing pugs and you`ll see that they bring a lot of fun for everyone involved with mixed teams of low pingers and high pingers. It`s becoming senseless to protest about low ping or high ping, as long as you`re the one opting to play the game with each other. If you don`t like playing against low pingers(or high pingers), just don`t play, instead of complaining. It is how it is.
