A venom in this community, "Elite Gaming Draft"
Many of you wonder why this game has a bad competitive community, and most of you know it is because this game is full of immature kids running around. No good player/teams will ever set eye on this absolutely TRASH community because the second they check this game out people treat others with hostility.
Most of you have heard of Elite Gaming, they had been running drafts in this game for almost half a year. These guys have quite a reputation of having the most flawed rules ever. People always complain about the admins for not knowing what they are doing. I have been sticking up for this vent for a long time because I saw potential, which is why I became a moderator on this vent for a moment. I quit my position shortly after I decided to take a break on this game and yesterday when I come on this vent to play a draft after a LONG break, I have been banned for the dumbest reason and quickly unbanned. I have talked with Tim and yet he did not provide a proper explanation on why i was randomly banned and just said it will not happen again. 5minutes later, I got banned again. This happened at least 4 times in 2 match.
Just recently, I was playing some LoL with my boy Kazeia. I hop on EG vent to find him and once again I got banned for no real reason.
What Lustin is trying to do for this game is great. It is good intentions but he has some absolutely HORRIBLE moderators. There is no way that competitions will ever mature with immature children doing obnoxious things. There are far too many mods in this draft, FAR too many.
Another thing is that the staffs are far too lenient. I played another draft last night where a bunch of vietnamese amateurs were being a bunch of stuck up scrubs and kept asking for SS of armor because they got DESTROYED. We all took our ss and just to p1ss them off we had them screenshot too. They failed to do it and then the draft staff were far too lenient and let them get away with it. Rules are rules, if you make a set of rules, you have to abide them. You don't just make up rules and let people go. Quit being a bunch of pushovers.
Pugs are meant to keep a presence of competition, but this is impossible with the most popular pug at the moment screwing stuff up. People come on this draft, screw around. Cheaters get to come on this draft, get away with it. 'D1vision' cheated in previous drafts and was later given draft staff position?
I love Tim, Needlez, Richard and all. I think Richard is doing an absolutely fine drop(I recommended him to be a draft staff teehee kudos to me
) but some of you, not naming who, need to start taking the job far more seriously. Drafts should keep this game going, not rot it.

Hopefully this will knock some senses. I could have said this on EG vent with the staff but with people talking over me it will never make an impact.

i remember why i stopped playing drafts after a few wogl ones. Bad organization followed by frequently being teamed up with players who play like paraplegics. ll pug and even krzy's wasn't too bad but ya... never tried elite gaming draft and mostly likely it will stay that way

EG draft has done a fine job most of the times, but they are getting worse every draft. Mods don't bother doing their job right, people just troll hardcore. -

i think i might be one of the few people who actually took the time to read all that.
anyway although im not NA i do occasionally play echo 8 and i did go to the draft on Saturday.
i think to be honest its not just the pug draft its the entire community and not just North Americans but Europeans as well (ones that can still play on the uk servers) quite frankly although yes we do have things like WCG and other forms of competitive play as a community this game is a failure. i don't know how to do it but we need to promote better conduct... funny how hypocritical im being because ive been "hostile" quite a bit recently, any ways yeah a show of how bad its got, about a year ago i play echo 8 and people are like oh ns, n1 etc it was good, now i don't think anyone can even say anything without saying umadbro? its pathetic really... if you got any ideas on how we can improve on this uk and NA alike then hit me up ..
i also agree about the moderators... they seemed lazy and unassertive it seemed to me they didn't care about who did what.... when i was an admin on the EU pug vent i did everything i could to keep it running smoothly i helped whoever needed it, i answered questions, i helped the lead admins out boo and strapzy. but these admins seem just reluctant to even care so long as we play.

yeah i don't mind trash talking to much, but its only when it becomes they're only form of insulting that's when it starts to get annoying... pretty much because it doesn't get me mad any more just makes me pity them to be honest at how pathetic they're acting "online" "umadbro?"
