Best headset I have found for GM
For those of you that do not use a headset on GR for GM get some. I have had a variety of headsets. Spanning for a cheap $6.00 3.5mm behind headset, a $85 set of sony, and even a $100 set of logitech wireless (do not buy) and the headsets below are the best I have found. I have yet to try the logitech g35 hopefully my wife will get them for me for Christmas.
even with breath and footsteps down you can hear ghost for a good 10 to 30 feet away like they are standing next to you. Makes it really easy to find ghost. Warning you will shoot a lot of ghost with out them moving. Be prepared to be called a hack and be kicked.

But yeah good headphones really make the difference. But I like to use my Studio Headphones, Over the ears. Higer Impendencies make it much easier to hear even the slightest of breath from a ghost. But I can make good use of even cheap $20 sony's from Walmart. I'm pretty sure they still sell those over the ear sets over there. Anything Works as long as it's loud and clear! Especially when I get called Hack hehe -

Theres a lot of great headsets out there. I would recommend those made by steelseries, I owned a 5HV2 for such a long time and I have to say that its amazing, very comfortable. The newer versions that are out are even better.
This headset seems like its pretty cheap, but I'm sure if it connects through USB then the sound quality must be a little different and better in its own ways. I'm using a slicK HP900 since my good headsets have broke and the warranty is apparently gone. Its cheap and works great, but it doesnt work through USB.
I'm hoping to get a good 7.1 surround sound headset, USB, sometime in the near future. All the times I have ever got to test and use them I found the sound quality is amazing. I'm a gamer and I love music, so its what I'm looking for. -

humm ill take a case of that jack. i love jack i really do. i can't say ive had single barrel before, but JD & MD is awesome.
But back on topic. yes i do like these headphones for GM. ive played for 2 hrs straight before without gaining 1 xp from being kicked out of them. for $20 you can't go wrong.
WARNING very uncomfortable (im 5'5" and 120lbs, i have a small head and they are still uncomfortable). it gets irritating after a while, but eventually u get used to it and find a setting that works for you. yes there is better headsets out there. it just depends on if u have the stones to drop 100+ dollars on on headset. but with these you should see a major improvement in your GM stats.

Mine seem to just fine. the speaker size is just right it amplifies certain frequencies. Such as foot steeps, falling, and breathing. The lower tones such as gun fire and other stuff are not amplified as much.
yes the can be uncomfortable. you get use to them.
I have noticed a lot of people saying that they got them broken. I personally have never had a problem with them. I have had 4 sets now. most of the breaking comes from rough usage, such as ripping them off and throwing them down when i am in a hurry. stepping on the cord while they are on my head. picking them up by the mic boom.
If they can last more than a week with me using them. I bet most people they would last for a couple of years.
Like i said I would really like a set of logitech G35. -
You don't need BEST headset for G.M. REALTEK sound card and good settings is enough (if you are good at PP), I used these (yeap from mp4)
just bought new headset, there is no difference... just new/stylish...
that's not a headset... those are earphones. headset=headphones and mic
