LOL i give up, i tried to help a few people understand what was going on. And some brat of a kid decides to sit around and insult me and no matter what i say you have to say i am wrong.
No you provided "words" i at least provided where i got the words. You claim i made stuff up yet you have no source for your words.
AND unless you can prove otherwise, gameguard does not work on an auto update system. Each game is unique and requires its own updates. And if gameguard was updating all the time.. we would see it update when we load the game. Not to mention the past patches havent updated gameguard which is why hackers never went away. If gameguard was constantly updated we would not see hackers. -

Yeah, you tried to help and ended up ****ing everything up.
You did make **** up, dumbass.
How the **** is an official notice from INCA a "non-source"? They're the ones who made the damn thing. Are you saying you know more about a product than the makers of the product? Holy ****, why don't you try to apply as the CEO of INCA then? I'm sure they would gladly accept your help.
Again, you display just how illogical and idiotic you really are.
I never said gameguard was "constantly updating". Where the **** did you pull that out of? Oh right, your fat ass.
I said Inca's main server makes sure each game server is running the latest GG version. If it doesn't it makes sure to update the client's GG version to the latest one. Now go wipe off your ass. It reaks of your blantant bull ****. -

Oh yeah?! Hmm... if you are so sure of that, than explain me why can I play other games that use gameguard on windows 7 32 bit(AVA, KOS, just 2 examples for you to confirm) and when I try to run crossfire it gives me BSOD? And if it was like that, why would every game that uses gameguard bring a gameguard folder along with it? Why not make a general instalation?! -

Because Game Guard didn't release a compatibility patch for Cross Fire but it did for other games.
There is a post that a [GM] made in a thread like this, he explains why this is happening. I'm looking for it right now.
EDIT: Here it is.We are a publishing company. We have no coders for Cross Fire to be "****ty" to use your word.
We are waiting on Game Guard to fix the problem, the game should run fine once they update their problems.
There are some player made solutions on the internet. Simple google searches will turn up results and discussions from various other games and sources about Game Guard not working with Windows 7.

We can't condone the use of any 3rd party program however, so use at your own risk. There is information on that program on that wiki site.
For now, GG has handcuffed us and we can only sit and wait. -
Bsod
Yes, this appears to be a problem everyone has, and i know that it isn't my computer, because it is three months old, yet my 4 year old desktop with xp on it runs it fine. Now, i hope someone who can make the patch actually looks at this thread and makes a patch or something to make it work with windows seven, or **** them.
