It does not support crossfire , if you run it you will get the BSOD.

i also keep getting that BSOD. hopefully they will release a patch soon im getting irritated. i havent played crossfire in like weeks-months and i want to play.

same man i upgraded from vista cuz it sucks but you can go into xp mode if u have pro enterpise or ultimate versions. Just google it havent tried it but i will good luck sorry for bad grammar

Vista doesn't suck but its not as good as 7 plus i got my pc for free just upgraed it. Xp was my fav but i like w7 now . All i can say is use xp mode or a virtual pc.(xp mode is a virtual pc but free if u have any version pro or up. Once again good luck

Windows 7 32 Bit = Crossfire is NOT runing for the moment.
Windows 7 64 Bit = Crossfire is working fine

i got tired of waiting for Gameguard to come out with a patch i wanted to use my windows 7.

i had xp on it i made a partition put windows 7 on it now i can still play crossfire.

im done go over to my other partition use my windows 7 i like to be able to use both anyways.

jep it is treu but still z8games must esablish alot of problems like the disconnect and crashes because these problems are only for the older versions but wait for next patch maybe it wil be a christmass patch together with the gameguard patch

To clear this up for all of you. It is not a Crossfire issue directly, but a gameguard issue. Crossfire is using a slightly out of date gameguard[ months behind games like shaiya or flyff] i dont know if the newest version has fixed the 32bit issue but windows 7 64 bit does work If you wonder how i know they use a old version it is because the firewall i use has problems with gameguard on crossfire, and this issue was fixed before the summer on games like flyff and shaiya. So really you should ask z8 to update gameguard to fix the issue.

So to sum it up:
crossfire= old gameguard= only supports 64 bit or x64 windows 7.

You can upgrade your Windows 7 32 Bit to 64 Bit when you got a 64 Bit Key. Just download a Students or Trial Version and enter your key - done

I think that you can't upgrade... You can just make a clean instalation(format and install) from 32 bit OS to 64 bit OS...

beta,releases,and other releases were available well before october. not to mention that i beleive they are also refering to 32bit not working with crossfire.

I have Windows 7 64 bit and it is working running pretty well. Although I have been having problems as of late. Though I don't know if it is a problem with Windows 7.

Wow.. it's been like a month now.. and still no fix.. I play CF on my 5 year old desktop now but I can't wait till I can play on my lappy again with Windows 7 32-bit..

i agree wow. how long does it take to make a patch for this seriously you have people who have to find another computer or go to a friends house to play CF. hte more we wait the more fustrated we get. hope it comes really ****in soon

You can't blame Z8 it's GameGuards fault. Other games have been affected by this too. It's up to GameGuard to release updated versions of their program to the companies. I'm sure they are working on it seeing that a lot of people went out and bought Windows 7.

IT IS Z8 GAMESS FAULT because the gameguard that crossfire uses is pre summer old. I know this for a fact because my prefered firewall has issues with GG and Shaiya,Flyff ect had this issue and fixed it months ago.
