  • Do you know if the m4 spring will come out again? Or a m4 that is similar to it.

seen your review about it, didn't not realize it was that good until 1 week ago...100% wall bang, blew my mind. i know the patriot has 100% bang too, But i do not prefer m4 with scope.
  • Thx For the Guide Man is the Best Guide Of Crossfire Weapons :)
  • 1 suggestion. Your names for body parts are confusing. Hand/arms= hand/arms/upper chest

    and

    back/chest=lower back/stomach?

Maybe make the hitbox categories more specific.
    ie:
    upper torso/hand/arms

    and

    lower torso/stomach etc....

If the hand/arms category refers to the upper chest as well it should just say it. Or not, just make an upper torso and a lower torso section. We can gather that arms and hands are included in the upper torso category.

    Otherwise good work.

    ~~5 meters~~
    Foot/Leg: 24, 24.
    Lower Torso: 41, 41.
    Upper Torso: 34, 33.
    Headshot: 100.
    ~~15 meters~~
    Foot/Leg: 23, 24.
    Lower Torso: 40, 40.
    Upper Torso: 34, 34.
    Headshot: 100.
    ~~30 meters~~
    Foot/Leg: 23, 23.
    Lower Torso: 38, 38.
    Upper Torso: 33, 32.
    Headshot: 100.
    ~~100 meters Headshot~~
    Headshot: 100.

    Reload Time: 2.8 Seconds
Fire Rate: 10.0 Rounds Per Second (RPS)
    Bullets: 30/90
    Total Bullets: 120
Full to Empty Mag: 2.9 Seconds
    DPS: 325.000

Also, I changed the order up so hitbox categories go in order from the feet up.

Just include a message saying Arms/Hands are included in the upper torso.

Also, please don't take this the wrong way. I am in no way attacking you or your hard work. Trust me, it's acknowledged and appreciated. I just want to help make your guide more comprehensive and user friendly.

Suggestions to improve the guide (with the right intentions) are always welcome. I did post the following in the introduction post to clear up any confusion though:

"There are five different damage areas on each character:

    1. Below the waist (which I call Foot/Leg), the butt counts as foot/leg too.

    2. The upper half of the body, arms and hands(which I call Hand/Arm). Note that the upper half of the body does the same amount of damage as hands/arms. A back/chest shot is referring to lower back/chest(so stomache-ish).

    3. The lower half of the body (which I call back/chest).

    4. A regular (white) headshot (I try to get them as often as possible except when I say golden headshot).

    5. A golden headshot (I always try to avoid these these and if I do get a golden headshot it will be shown). Golden headshots don’t do much more damage than regular headshots(up to about 5), so it shouldn’t matter much."

Unfortunately some people don't read key information like that because they want to just get to the good stuff (which I understand). I could have gone through each of the 100+ guns seperately and changed the names, but I just chose the easy way out and wrote what I quoted for you.

I've thought about changing the names to make it easier to understand in the past, but I have more pressing things to attend to. It may get done eventually and thanks for the suggestion, but I don't see it getting done too soon.
  • Oh, absolutely, I didn't expect you to change it overnight (or at all necessarily, I know this is your guide not a wiki-guide, lol) and it would be exceedingly meticulous to go through every gun's stats and change the names around. I just wanted to throw that idea out there. I just think upper torso and lower torso are simply more apt names for the hitbox categories and would save confusion for future readers. I can see your difficulty in naming them in the first place and then basically having to stick with it. Like I said before, good jorb!

*edit: and I did see your explanation of the damage areas, of course. I just got a bonner for clarity.
  • One thing i noticed is you don't have wallbang noted for the guns that have it. To me that is something that would be usefull.

P.S- I only looked at the guns info but not the comments after the guide.
  • Have 30K GP or so, on this account, what do you suggest I try out? (Limted to rifles though.)

I suggest waiting until you have enough for an M4A1. The only guns you really need are an M4A1 (or AK47 if you like it better), a desert eagle and an AWM.
  • I got m4 on main, I'll try AK I suppose, mastering that spray will help my control ever so. Not gonna bother with awm, might get Deg.

    Should I try for Tar?

The tar's bad at long ranges because it doesn't 1 shot headshot after a certain distance.

The AK is better than the M4 for close range, so you might want to invest in an AK so that you can pick which gun to use depending on which map you're playing (and which area on the map if you want to get really specific).

If you prefer closer range fighting the Tar is really good with it's accuracy and fast ROF (rate of Fire). However, if you prefer power and long distance fighting than I'd go wit the AUG.

If you wish when I'm on this wkd, feel free to PM me. I have every GP gun in the game and I'll be willing to let you test them out

I play GM 90% of the time as you know, any of the GM maps apply to me. I've been considering a long time to buy an AK-47/74. Instead I went with another pistol, Socom. (Didn't want to save up for Ana or another Deg.)

I have played with the Tar here and there, when I can pick it up from the ground. I like it's fire rate and the scope itself. I think it's an underappreciated gun myself.

What would be better for Ghost Mode? Tar or AK? (Consider the cons.)
  • God, should I go for the M4A1 RD or the M4A1 Patriot? It looks like the RD might have better accuracy but it's slower. What would you recommend?

It depends I mean if I do SnD, I go long range and mid. But I'm doing GM so often these past few months, it doesn't matter which distance anymore, I need a potent one hit hs rifle though. If not a rifle, how about a good Smg?

Thanks man, I appreciate it. :)

Well statistically the AK47 is a beast in GM, but it's loud and annoys your teammates so don't get that.

accuracy and recoil is a touchy subject since I can't really test it and put a number on it.

If you want a good GP gun for GM then look into the Type89. It's a quiet gun and has a good RoF. The only down sides are the reload and it's not a 1 hit hs at long range. Close and mid ranges it's beast though.

No. Technically one of the perfect GM guns. Only problem is the reload and the power, and neither should bother a good GMer who knows what he/she is doing.
  • I love you.

This is just what I was looking for! I knew my AK was awesome :).

LOL. Funny and actually somewhat relates(?) to the original topic.
