(just a hint though they all come from esea invite)

    I am so scared.
  • pretty much what slant said, we understand WOGL didn't do anything but the z8games staff should have intervened in the ruling. I don't see how it would be an y different next year ect but hey I'm an optimist I'll vote.

A lot of people thought WOGL hosted WCG USA, which they didn't. Anything that happened on the USA side, should have been handled by ESSA. Obviously that didn't happen.

WCG Canada - There is a lot that most of you don't know. Long story short, G4Box did not have a lot of influence in how the host, WOGL, ran the events. Steps were taken to attempt to intervene, but nothing came of it.

    my thoughts.
    usa's side wasn't much better.

I 100% agree with you. ESSA did a terrible job of keeping tabs/working with teams and z8games. Scheduling was terrible and on top of that, I never got my CRATES!!!!!! WTF!
  • i'm not voting. you guys can stay in your basement

sucks that you suck brando :D
  • CF is insanely popular in Korea and China, so I see a good possibility of it landing on the short list. We will have to see. Get your votes on there, every vote counts.

Might have to pull out your A-game for research. CF has been around the top 4 in all of 2011 in China. Sudden Attack and Soldier Front trump CF by somewhere in the 2 Million active users range.

Not the most popular in China anymore either.

SF is obviously a far superior game.

yeah? I've not seen the game played since maybe...2009? I remember my nephews downloading it and the soldiers had large heads. And the game had bad mechanics.

V Jumping is amazing, you don't know **** bro.

The large heads is a dumb mode commonly known as VIP xD
  • Unlike cf, where good shots can get around, SF involes more teamwork and communication, because teamwork conqures everything

    man im wasted

This. Making rifles practically impossible to use long range and limiting snipers to 1 per team = so much more focus on teamwork and player placement than CF, a game where pug teams with great shots can still do well.

Pretty much, and as for Korea. Sudden Attack dominates every FPS in Korea including CS. It's the second most popular E-Sport and a new league just took over Champion's League. CF doesn't stand a chance in Asia anymore, sorry to break the news to you.
  • I'm all for this chat.. but regardless SA and SF are not options for WCG so whats the point of even arguing this

one thing I will conclude on regardless of the fact of there being 2 million players doesent mean that the game is more successful COMPETITIVELY... Combat arms according to Nexon's numbers has 2 million players in North America but only 20 teams competitively half of which dont scrim on a regular basis...

Lets also look at how many international/major lan events Crossfire has compared to SA and SF hell why dont we also throw in PB.. the numbers are staggering in Crossfire's favor

^ this alone is why its being accepted into WCG and has been accepted numerous times in the past, quite simply put CF is recognized as a competitive game internationally, where as games like SA that may have been at the international level(as in Asia only) once or twice is still recognized as that ****ty game that people cant take seriously thats been out for 4+ years, further that fact its owned by NEXON a company that doesent care about competition <-- and dont even try to bother arguing that

SF on the other hand is consistently outstaged by AVA, where in IESF it constantly takes the main stage as the fps of choice.

    . . . . .

DING DING DING...We've got an idiot! Soldier Front is on the list you f%cking moron. Special Force 2 = Soldier Front. It's the equivalent to CS 1.6 in the US, EU and South America. Know it all don't know it all, ehh? And to sh%t on you even more... Sudden Attack has already had 8 events this year in Asia. Special Forces has had 12. Cross Fire has had....0. Do your homework or quit jockin' assumptions. Sudden Attack has given out close to $1 Million in prizes in 2011 already. This is Cross Fire's first year in WCG's grand stage. All the other times it's been regional. Cross Fire has only had ONE international competition; WEM2010. CF isn't pulling ANY numbers on SA or SF...

Just remember; CROSS FIRE wasn't on the ballot to vote this year either. You had to manually put it in under OTHER. There goes your know-it-allisms again.

And as side note: AVA is huge in Korea. Not to mention the developers and publishers are the main promoters and contributors to ieSF. THAT is why it's on the bill....

I'm done. Goodnight and happy holidays you f%cking turkey!!

no game is 1.6's equivalent 1.6 is the international norm its popular all around the world not just in asia.. if you think just because its popular in asia that its going to win the day.. sorry to break your **** off but its not getting in lmfao

idk why your so hostile especially when your wrong more then half the time on these threads, know it all isms? lol id say you had quite a bit of practice
