there is a new update for the patcher_cf file this is where i am stuck at trying to see if i run the game by the desktop icon will that load the new patcher file in and get over this little hump

If i press 'Start Game' i get the patcher_cf , but i get a 'Failed to download patch file'.

What have I to do ?

easy i got past that by doing this

C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFireCF_G4box.exe run that and let that update a few times

no not finished patching just trying to find ways around running patcher_cf.exe their is an update for it and you can't replace it if its running so thats where the error comes into play

and it does not help everybody smashing their servers downloading the patches i was at 2mbps and now i am downloading them at 150kbps haha
