anyone else having a problem with the CRC error this is how i got over the hump i went in my crossfire folder in my programs renamed the patcher_cf.exe to patcher_cf_.exe ran it and let it install the new patcher file and now its fully updated and ready to go

Wrong CRC has been detected.
try that it worked for me now i am waiting on the servers to come online -
