Our government is dumb as fck -.- What we should do is just leave the EU, so we have our own currency [euro is screwed] and then we dont have to pay back our debt to the EU. Our taxes are absolutely ridiculous.........and the handicaps are only gonna add on more in our upcoming national budget........
Oh and shnookie, don't forget them italians! If ye end up bailing them out it will like collapse the whole continent lolol -

Us dutchies and germans are paying for the rest of europe ****ing up every single thing.
Would be nice if the goverments of these countries took economy classes at high school or just listen to the economics and doing things they advise instead of arguing about it for two years.

Quitting the euro is bad for europe, but would be good for us. We don't depend on the EU. Like 60% of our exports go to Great Britain or something. We'd keep all our trading ties with them. Besides, Ireland isnt a producing country anymore. There's been a massive increase in Agriculture [have to enforce all the stupid regulations that have been brought in], but also in jobs for innovation and IT. I mean, both Intel and Apple for example have massive sites in Ireland. Also, it will be much better for us since our debt is so big we'll probably still be repaying in 20 years time. Doesnt help everyone graduating packs up and goes to Australia/Canada/NzL/Arabland, so that affects pretty much everything - Less PAYE, PRSI, Vat, Carbon taxes just for starters....... -

Nah wouldn't be good for you either.
There have never been made any rules about leaving the euro, since when it was found nobody expected this crisis. So there are two ways to leave it:
-Disband the euro, which will destroy the economic position of every euro country in the world aspect;
-Quit the eu-union, get fcked as a country cos' you have absolutely no (economic)power in the world.
And even if you would find a other way to leave the euro it will be good.for the goverment but the bussiness enviroment will be damaged badly. All stocls will massivly drop and it will take you another 10/20 extra years to recover. -

As I said earlier, our economy is already in the dogs and only going down. We can survive on England's back for quite a time. It will take at least another 15-20 years to get back any form of decent entrepreneurship, hold hands with England for another 10 or whatever to build up our finances. IF there's some sort of Warsaw Pact kinda job around then just join into that. Tbh the EU is a balls. Loads of stupid regulations in it. -

Your the biggest spastic around here. As always, foreigners never understand what really is happening in other countries nor our situation. Unless you have extensive knowledge into our political, economical and social circumstances? Have you been here assessing and preparing reports on MY country? Yeah....guessed not. Maybe YOU should go into politics. You'd be a perfect civil servant. Complain about just about everything, go on strike over nothing, stand around all day and work @ 40%, then when you've achieved nothing in your life you get a nice safe pension. That would suit you down to the ground. If this was the jungle, you would be the sheep [yes, I know sheep don't habitat jungles] and I am the ManBearPig.
