I need to know something.

So I want to join the whole competitive scene. Anything I need to know specifically about it? For example, how do I get started, what do I need and so on. I like to use the M4 and the AUG, but I'm not considering myself to be "good".

For the time being I can't go in E8 since I'm in Germany visiting some members of my family (and I don't know even a bit of the German language haha). I'm going back to America soon hopefully. Is there any UK server version of E8? Thanks for the tips
