I don't get the point of insulting teams just because they are not a top notch team. Who cares if they are not as good as you (or whatever you want to say)? If they want to get better then they will put some effort into it and practice to get better, if not then they will keep doing what they are doing and so be it. Personally I would rather have teams like veritas and intricate play and be able to scrim them rather than sitting in echo all day not being able to find one game or just playing a bunch of ringer teams.

Ok, so we might not be the best, and veritas might get ripped by deviate basically every single time, but aren't we trying to get better? I don't understand what you are trying to prove here... That we are bad? How do we poison this game? We scrim and try to become better as a team, we have come close to deviate only a couple of times, but those times show our improvement from getting ripped the times before. Even at the age of 14 i can understand that you are simply trying to troll with the amount of time you have on your hands. Every team was an average team at one point, why can't you leave us alone and let us at least try to improve? I don't trash talk any team or anyone i know that have showed they are a "good" team. I do not trash talk unless i blatantly see someone being really stupid or completely immature. So why does it matter if we do not provide competition? All we can do is improve and slowly become harder to rip apart. So slaya let me tell you one simple thing. We are not the poison, YOU are, YOU are the person trying to make us feel bad, and not allowing us to improve, YOU are the person that goes on the forums to troll, YOU are the poison. Try to be like the more respectful members of deviate; for one brando shows a good role model. -

Community blows. The only good thing it's good for is taking advantage of the ill minded and delusional little kids that waste 10 hours a day playing this horrible game to get somewhere in dead "leagues" while they have completely diverted their attention from their studies and reality.

In the grand scheme of things, all these matches take place off-client. So in measuring the competitive importance of scrims, there is no importance. Likewise, a casual scrim set up between two teams should remain just that, casual. If the attitude is that you just want a random game just to play, then sure you can say that scrim doesn't really matter.
However, when you set up a scrim against a better team in order to practice for league matches, they should matter to YOU. Forget what other people think, you and your team should now be in the mindset that this game is practice for league matches. They SHOULD matter to YOU, regardless of being off-client or the game having no weight on your competitive standing.
What most teams fail to realize or even put into practice is the attitude that there is a time to mess around and a time to get serious. If you want to be a legitimate contender after a couple season, put the time in to set up serious scrims that matter to you and your team, not anyone else. Put in the time to practice your team tactics and come up with strategies that play to your team's strengths. If you want to just goof around, that's completely fine. Goof away to your heart's desire.
Scrims do and don't matter. Depending on the situation. However in this reference they do and don't matter to the teams and players, not in a general competitive standing. As I said before, they mean nothing if you're trying to gauge your "standing" above other teams because none of these scrims are on-client. But they should matter to you and your team if you really want to get better and actually provide that competition that is so sorely lacking in our community.
Practice makes perfect. This will always ring true.
Until we have better clients and smarter/better players, none of this matters anyways. Just saying. -

the key is too being good: organized aggressiveness and a decent shot (doesnt have to be good at all, spraying is easy).
secret pCp strats: AL: rush b, rush a, rush that, blah blah blah, and occasionally we did splits.

No offence, pCp was good, great even but look at them now. It's dead. Every team has their own play style. -

yea, those strats work if you're playing off client and cheating. that's why they worked for pcp. -

Lol with the additions of shawn and Arthur and mint I think Veritas has gotten alot better. We have more depth now in our team and honestly if I were to go over stuff like I did back in unR I bet you anything we would be a top 5 team. Atm I don't do that, I have one simple reason behind this. We are getting use to playing with different people. I'm almost positive mini has only played with me and shawn in teams. We don't know how eachother plays yet once it changes slaya ill 5v5 you. I bet you any money it will be a close game. if you don't think so fine whatever. But we are getting better.

I don't recall saying in a match. I said I will 5v5 them. I have never once dodged deviate, they say 5 we say 5 and ill play em. A loss is a loss idc. And scrims matter to slaya so that will be our mini match I guess. Your opinion al. Arnt you in ESL-o and wasn't ur wogl pcp team in o? -
I'll be blunt. Deviate isn't good. They're just lucky that LPK and LL have been declining recently in activity, otherwise they would have been Deveritas. No one in their roster stands out as a top player. If I had to make a definition for Deviate, it would be:
