I can't stand PC stuff, more so when it doesn't make sense.
Z8 is right to block swearing since they run the game and believe it may help the games reputation and increase the player base but I certainly won't support their decision personally.
And IMO they should treat harassment in all forms different from swearing, since harassment is directed and intended to hurt/pester/annoy another person whilst swearing could just be an expression for example "oh fck we lost" and the only thing this could do to another person is offend them and I don't think people should be protected from having their feelings hurt simply because they are irrational, idiotic and PC. -
Abuse it more? Abuse what? and how does that affect you? They are just words and they will be used by teens.
If I had a child and I was so protective of that child that I didn't want he/she to ever see a swear word then I certainly wouldn't allow them to play any violent game such as this that involves killing/blood. And to be honest I would probably have to kill them to protect them:rolleyes:.
And I would hope that any child that cannot bear to see a swear word wouldn't be playing such a game.

This may be true in some cases, but its notable in the game that this is not the common use for it and is generally not needed. Besides, most of the time the swear words are directed to other players because of rage or anger. We all know that even the language barrier doesn't stop that from being done. Which is also being added to the swear filter's silliness because even the foreigner's can't keep a clean tongue and more letters are censored.
If people didn't have the need to cuss, we wouldn't need a swear filter.
The gaming scene used to be alot friendlier a few years ago. It's a shame its degraded in such a fashion. -

im a teen too, i dont care about the swear words, im not scared as a ballerina. what i care about is that if CF uncensored the swear words, then more spamming can occur because then theyre easier to type. in addition,you take things to literal.... and you still cannot read properly, LOOK AGIAN WHAT DID I MEAN BY ABUSING IT! and you'll still go off topic

Yeah there's usually a distinction, just usually swearing is added in with the harassment. You won't get banned for the quote you noted unless you do it in an excessive fashion notably. You won't get banned if its a single instance. Same thing for evading the filter, excessive use merits punishment.
However, someone spamming swear words just cuz they are raging is definitely not acceptable and is more likely to be dealt with since we really don't need that kind of attitude in the game. -

Don't assume unless you have documentation to prove that. Otherwise if that were the case they wouldn't need game ratings or all would just be rated for everyone. Everyone's seen and heard it all apparently and no one cares.

Censoring should be kept to an extent. Obviously things that are racist to "X" Race should be blocked, but something as simple as "afk" shouldn't. I understand people would end up using "FK" to represent the F-word, but it shouldn't be up to the extent where I would have to type "AF.K" to a friend to give him the message. -

Spamming has nothing to do with words, other than you spam words, spamming is a problem itself.
You're being ridiculous, arguing for censorship to stop spamming? really??, that is like supporting the outlawing of all knifes to stop murders or cars to prevent drink driving.
For example you could ban every word in CF and even every letter besides "A" and it can still be spammed. So your argument fails. Arguing macros cause spam would be correct.
Don't say "ffs" as it offends me nor call me a "monkey" when I'm clearly want to be referred to as Chimp as there is a distinct difference between Monkeys and Chimps!
