FGT, Trio, Momentum, Sory, want more?
momentum. . . really?
Trio http://www.vsgl.net/index.php?l=1&s=1&mod=match&view=details&no=251 TOP TEAM RIGHT HERE
Sorry has good players (for NA), but no where near the chemistry of Asian teams
FGT=> went through vsgl making teams forfeit or play with 4 SOLID
f11 has another good majority of the good NA players, then again the Asian teams actually practice
I hope you can come up with better teams. Sure those are the better teams in NA (even though (trio and fgt are Chinese), but they are no where near the level of organized asian teams. No group of middle schoolers from NA will ever win a single round against an asian team. I mean how many players from NA crossfire have actually lanned before?
The biggest reason why NA has no good teams is because there are no CF leagues and the game is rampant with hackers. It is hard to develop team chemistry and organization when everyone you play either sucks or cheats. -
Grand Champion: Trio
Divisional Champions: Trio, Sorry
Second Place Winners: *_E[X]CESS_*, Momentum
Third Place Winners: aDr Gaming, PhiLipPiNeS*, [FGT]===>, [c2]_U.p
SOLID TEAMS RIGHT THERE
anyways back to french homework
xokako, please leave me some nice remarks so i can get some entertainment tonight. I remember when I thought I could make money by playing videogames, and then I graduated the 10th grade. -
1st of all Gratz for your graduation.
And other thing you shouldn't say that cause none of the teams actually play against each other. And above all, and trying to end this, Asian could be the better team, or not, but it would be great to get crossfire to lans.
Returning once more to CS they didn't start playing it only in lan. It was via Internet.
2nd and more important
To everyone who is interested WCG, the final of CrossFire will be 10:00:00 Wednesday November 12, 2009 in GMT
If interested on the program to watch it just say here and i will provide the link -

tbh na cf is not going never be on any big leagues or tournaments. Dont campare na teams to asian teams. its same as if you say that some random na scrim team in cs have good chance to win sk gaming. anyways wana give me that link? -
If the teams face over lan events we will see who's the best team and players, Cause playing over the web there are all sorts of conditions to have in matter, like the ping, if anyone hack,etc,etc...
Now heres the link to get that program:

If there were prizes involved I'm sure I could find 4 or 5 players willing to practice.fityonecogu wrote: »I mean how many players from NA crossfire have actually lanned before?
Not a lot.fityonecogu wrote: »The biggest reason why NA has no good teams is because there are no CF leagues and the game is rampant with hackers. It is hard to develop team chemistry and organization when everyone you play either sucks or cheats.
This is true. -

Sorry
F11
don't get me wrong, those 3 are probably the best in NA.
I just don't see them competing against organized teams. It's like when a team first joins CAL-O, they need a season to figure **** out then they can be golden.
Maybe in the future, but who knows -
Let me reformulate the question, Can you play better then them?

im sure atleast 4-5 NA teams would participate, but we are so far behind them. It is very hard to make up ground when preparing for an event. So much to cover in such little time -

Not saying that your team isn't good, but they were the ones that are first(FGT) and trio was the ones that won the tournament -

3 forfeit wins and a 4v5
ofcourse they will be at the top, their differential is ridiculous. Winning 3 matchs 18-0 will do that
if you sort by Round won and Rounds/map
Area 51 is #1 -
Let's just stop this stupid non-sense talk cause it ain't going nowhere.
And for last, that this is the main point of this thread, would you or wouldn't you like to have the same event in NA and Europe?
Don't get me wrong, if crossfire had a WCG NA event I would win it. I wouldn't even waste the time going to the lan finals though. I got better things to do than get embarrassed on TV.
Little conceited yes, but it isn't hard to make a team of 7 people and practice. Area 51 did it and I don't remember losing very often, if at all (mainly just to ampt) **** you minty -
The thing is, this game is very young.
And the game was younger when Area51 was around. Back then people didn't know how to play, and teams like Area51 just rolled cats because they'd had previous experience in CS and had been together for a while.
This game is still to young for the competitive player base to really understand the concepts of real strats and consistent practice. I've been in/around a lot of teams and practice to them is something along the lines of "Lets run around and shoot each other lol"
REAL practice isn't fun. Its an hour or so of running strats over and over until they become engraved in your head. Real strats have timing. A 3 - 2 split on attack isn't a strat, its more like an audible. 2 - 1 - 2 isn't a strat for defense, thats a basic set up.
Some teams are starting to get the picture, and setting up "practice" but still not doing it the way I'd like it to be done. But then you have to sit back and ask yourself if its really worth it to invest that kinda time into this game.
Right now the average player would have to say no. There is not enough incentive to practice when there is nothing to win. Hopefully tournaments will pick up and the process will be streamlined so that they go off faster. But for people like me, the answer is always yes. I love to win, I never enjoy losing. We could lose by a single round and it wouldn't make a difference to me. Nobody remembers the losers.
However, its kind of hard to make a game like this competitive as the content is always changing. New maps are great, but the undocumented changes to weapons is killing chances. Look at CS1.6. How much has that changed in 4 years? Besides some behind the scenes stuff, the game is still pretty much the same as it was when I was 13 and playing my first pc fps (spoiler: it was 1.6)
But there has to be stuff to keep people interested and spending money, and z8 is a business so I don't hold anything against them in that aspect. -
