LOL at Bruce's picture's. I see the mods posting on these threads, but why not the GM's who are actually in charge of bans and watching the replays? They should atleast give a statement telling us whats going on and how there gonna improve there banning system to be more efficient.

Keep Dreaming =] Game Shouldnt Even Have GMs
  • Idk got to think its hard to proove someone is a chammer specially if their a smart one. Like I have done some crazy stuff if I saw someone do I would think they was chamming. Got to think of it like that. And most people these days are smart enough to only cham. Cause they know half the time they can get away with it. Just play in pug games I doubt they will do anything.
  • It depends for chammers because a lot of the time people think they cham but a lot of people where headsets and they can hear footsteps. Unless they are being obvious chammers its hard to find them.

I don't think he was specifically talking about chammers. People autoaiming to people through walls, people spinning 360's, knifethrowers, and yes, most of the people using chams are ******ed enough to look at the walls as if they weren't there. Hence why its so easy to spot them (unlike what you said). It's not hard, but it feels as if its all wasted time because even if they're as obvious as they are, nothing is done.

That's what Bruce means. (and me too).

I was responding to the guy above me but anyway yeah theres the people that do all that and nothing gets done. Thats why a lot of people you talk to are wishing they do something with there anti hack system since gameguard doesnt stop much of anything
  • well, it's not that easy to get those things done. remember, they are getting ALOTof reports daily. And people are using diff kinds of strats, like ventrilo or looking at their teamies's name through the wall. so even if they sometimes looks at the walls they may just check where their teamies are.

Maybe I'm ignorant but, there are some blatant speeds and walls that could be dealt with swiftly. Z8games can just give them an email saying, do you have proof that would state otherwise?
  • totally agree

i reported ike 7 hackers in past 3 months, no one of them was banned, this game is getting more and more screwed and believe me, within a year,if they dont add some anticheat or workin admins, no one is gona be playing, except those cheaters against themselves...
  • That's the problem with "chams"...Sometimes those who are "chamming" really are just using headsets. I tend to aim when I'm hearing someone just to track them (good surround-sound headsets are good with that with this game.) A chammer, however, is likely to specifically track someone's /head/ the whole time. Headsets won't make you THAT accurate.

The other part is that some players are very smart/very observant. Black Widow I get hit with "Chammer!" a lot when I come over to GR's A site from BL spawn, and just catch a pair of feet over by the far doors running up toward the steps. Such that there's only two directions that person is likely to go, and I'm already aimed at the window waiting for them to pop up.

Chammers only become obvious when, say, they're tracking someone walking through the upper tunnels in Train from across the stage, where they can't possibly hear those people. Even if you have a team-member tell you that they see the enemy up there, you're only going to aim toward the exits or run up there yourself, not actually "look" through the walls.

So...Chamming can be rough to watch for. Someone who is a really good player can be "eyed" as being a chammer, y'know? Which is exactly the reason why we have a problem with all the noob hackusations and BS room-kicks that are going on.

    Chamming is always obvious.

The only time it isn't obvious is when you are a noob--In which case you would have the common issue of discerning who is hacking and who isn't.
  • wow, i must be getting lucky
i haven't met a single hacker sience Z8 games possessed..er..took control of Crossfire

seriously? How much did you play since then LOL
  • As far as "dude hards to tell who chammers are"

I know what to look for. I'm not going to sit here and tell you I am the AUTHORITY on who is cheating and who is not, but I have a better idea than most.

I think a BIG part of the reason that OUR reports are not getting dealt with is because GM Saidin's inbox is full of reports that are along the lines of "omg ffirs u see on liek rnd 10 he shoot me threw wall n i no he hak"

When I send in a report, I have a screenshot of the player in the game (Usually the scoreboard) and the replay.

I type 3 to 4 sentences. What to look for, etc.

But if its dodgy I can just make another youtube video.

Don't you need two screen shots and the replay along with specific spots in the replay where the player was hacking. Ether way, I doubt anyone with half a brain would ever get banned. Its pretty fail, but hey thats just my opinion.
  • Man we talk as if its easy to get all the hackers banned. Its 1 person getting like 100s of replays in 1 day.

Thats if not more! We should thank them, not pressure them.

Hey, I'll be more than happy TO SPEND MY FREE TIME SITTING DOWN AND WATCHING REPLAYS IN ORDER TO FILTER THEM FOR GM SAIDIN SO THAT THINGS ACTUALLY GET DONE!!!!

Same here, I can spare an hour to send off 100 or so hackers to banville.
  • Same here, I can spare an hour to send off 100 or so hackers to banville.

I'm not talking about actually banning them.

More or less filtering the reports so GM Saidin does not have as much crap to sift through.
  • I also would be willing to "screen" reports for GM review, i know i have submitted alot of vids and i still see those people in game, one i submitted was a completely invisable ghost even while moving, kilibng the entire GR team in the span of a few seconds, al GR we dead in the GR starting postiion.
  • Same right here
My 6 reports at last month has never come to GM ( No download at MediaFire)..........
So, I got tired of doing that. Now here is what I do to deal with chamer: Call other clan mates come and own them!!! When I got 2-3 clan mates come to help, chamer becomes whiner........Pathetic chamers........
Panthers style: No whine, just rush and chop chamer's head down!!!

So I've been reporting hackers for approximately 5 months now and none of them have been banned. In fact, looking at my Megaupload account, NONE of my reporting replays have been downloaded.--ever.

A while ago I asked Goddish (ingame) about that and he said many reports were lost the past 3 months--So I figured OK, it happens. But to my dismay, my recent reports ALSO have 0 downloads on the reporting replay.

-I follow correct procedure in reporting (1 replay, + 2-3 screenshots, renamed to name of accused hacker)

-I only report blatant hackers--ie. ones that stare at walls.

    -I have a KDR of 2.45 (non-farmed), I'm no noob.

Now I understand that transitioning from Suba to z8 must take some manpower, but I've been a loyal customer ($200+ in the 5 months I've played, I'd say thats pretty supportive) and I would at LEAST expect the GM team to look at one or two of my reports.

So far, the only recourse I have is to give the replay(s) to the hacker's clan leader to get them expelled--But that doesn't help when a lot of hackers are Brazilians in some no-name clan who also hack.

    </rant>

    get over it lol
  • I am pretty sure what Goddish said was true through the transition of Suba to Z8 and the many forum issues that we had in the past. However, Saidin recently was on Vacation, he is just starting to catch up on the replays now.

I am phoning in tomorrow morning to make sure that the 4 replays I have (Of the same hacker) get looked at and something will be done to him. (He is an SP buyer so we will see).
  • LOLS hackers! Deal with them there not going away.
  • Brice, imma send you te beastiest video of sabianz chamming HARD.

    Later in the week. (fridayish)
  • Well.. my hacker report got dealt with within 12 hours today.
I got 3 people from Spartas 300 banned for aimbotting :)

I suggest using the Support section of the website instead of sending PM's. It gets done a lot faster.
