Scar l is much more stable and is so much more powerful. Its easy to kill with body shots reasonably quickly.
In terms of headshots, I find the m4 much easier to handle, but I know the scar is a hs machine too - people have different feels for the guns. -

I very much agree with him, if you want to get massive HS do M4, if you want overall, Scar L. -
Don't listen to these fools! I've used the SCAR Heavy, the SCAR Light, the XM8, the M4A1, the M4A1-Custom, the M4A1-ADV, the K-2, the Type-89 and just about every gun other than the Uzi and the M60 (yes, I've even tried the Glock - looks slick, but is the worst gun after the Uzi *bhrr*). I've been playing since time immortal, I am therefore every bit qualified to write this!
The SCAR Light is a noob cannon, it is a terrible (IMO) gun that does high damage and seems to have higher 'hit priority' during bi-directional spray. The accuracy is awful at mid-range, the spraying pattern is off, and it fires way too fast for any chance of multiple kills at long distances (also loses accuracy fast) and the (new) sound is earsplitting, you'll need to replace your eardrums after a week with it... Not possible to burst with this terrible thing, it triggers the spray-mode quickly due to the fire rate.
The M4A1 perhaps the most accurate gun in the game, it makes up for its lower damage with this trait. As long as you remember to always aim for the head and not the upper chest, you will get your kill. It is lightweight and makes a really soft gentle sound that will guarantee that your HEARING WILL NOT BE PERMANENTLY SCARRED. What you have to watch out for is spraying, the M4A1 will remain accurate longer than other rifles whilst spraying, but the bullets will deplete. Aim once, aim well! Do not waste bullets; poor enslaved children in Africa make them...
The K-2 is the most solid and stable gun in the game, available early on. The firing rate is slow, but it is very accurate at long distance and extremely high-hitting at these ranges. No other rifle compares. It also has a nice 2-hit KO (or in this case, death [...]) that is automatically bursted out if you get spooked. It remains accurate as you sway from side to side and it is excellent at multi-kills (try this on the enemy spawn in Egypt!!). Burst or spray, it does not matter too much if you can control the recoil and the enemy's fire due to its stability. You will find a large number of really high-ranking people playing with this. What you must know first about this gun is to no be stationery while shooting it, do not stand still! You must keep moving for the gun to be effective, trust Complex! -
Obviously the Scar Light is better, but its a noobcannon and i pity those that use it. The M4 is a MAN gun that is fair, easy to use, and isn't nooby. The ONLY gun that should be able to compare to CF's interptretation of the ScarL, is the Kriss, in real life it has NO recoil and one shot can knock you down, and even THAT is fair because its soo damn expensive and hard to get.

i like both and dunno what to but, i like scarliight because its great all around, i think that m4 is similar to scarlight just a little worse, but than again i like how easy it is to get wall shots on campers.
scar l is better, but i use my old m16, it`s the easiest to get headshots with, especially at full damage,it works like a shotgun at full damage, and for some reason you can still make headshots, even from far,.... -

anyone calling the scar light a "noob cannon" is a noob themselves. Scar Light is a great gun, very accurate, not the best spray, easy to handle. M4 is also a great gun, very accurate as well, pretty good spray pattern, also easy to handle. However the m4 is better for a player that aims at the upper chest/head most of the time (and single shots/bursts) not for sprayer. Both guns are great and I use both equally.

If most of the community says that SL is a n00b cannon, is for a reason.
You even said it yourself, is just too easy to handle.
