That would be against the point of MG's
MG's are supposed to be loud and intimidating...as if hurling several hundred RPM of rifle ammo down at your face wasn't enough.
You don't see Spec ops soldiers carrying silenced M249's do you?
Now, RPK or M60 scoped i can understand.

I'm not trying to rage or anything, but could you imagine the length of a suppressor it would take to even MODERATELY reduce the sound of the RPK especially on full auto?
Hard to fathem, i'd estimate something like the length of a AWM (exaggeration) to get it moderately silenced.

subsonic ammo and you don't even need a suppressor .-.
the use for it would be to hide the barrel flash after the shot, so there's no need to use a giant ass big suppressor. -
Suppressors are for hiding flash and reducing sound.

yeah, the subsonic ammo cuts off a great ammount of the sound created by the blast of the gun, leaving only the sound of gas going trough the barrel.
and the suppressor wouldn't have to be there, but, if it is, it will cut the sound even more, also, it will hide the barrel flash, what is a bonus :]
about the recoil, the customization to a silenced weapon can make the recoil smaller, if it changes the powder mix/quantity so the bullet woin't travel as fast as is would.
but if you change the bullet weight, so it won't pass the sound barrier, the recoil would continue virtually the same .-. -

i think extra 10 rounds for the RPK would be cool along with a silencer and the subsonic ammo (cut the powder mix, so the recoil will be smaller)

Some happy-go-lucky wallet warrior [like myself] would spend his/her ZP on the gun, realize he/she doesn't nearly have enough ZP to have a phesible chance at the crates he/she wants and goes out and buys more...
So...more money for Z8.

But with the ZP crates, they'll run out of ideas eventually.
So there has to be a cap on how many ZP perm guns they have and what mods they add to them.

3.) Type-89 custom....I could see that. Its not loud as it is. All you'd really need to do is re-paint it (color scheme?), slap a scope on there(half zoom or red dot?), extend the mag +5 and your all set. -

well, maybe not a ammo bonus, but a faster reload.
no one uses the scopes anyway, but it will grant you a bonus accuracy
and a silencer that cutz out reverberation of the type-89

lower weight would be unreasonable without model modifications, like a lighter stock and mechanichs.
also different plastic mags would help a lot.

The perfect blitzer weapon!
(Told in the context of S&D) Uses the added speed of the stripped M4 to get to his target, probably a bomb site and blows most of the opposition away while they still have their nades out, uses speed reload to get any stragglers still left behind before they escape to PTB.

i dont care weather or not my MG is silenced or not, but i would like to see one in cupons... or GP crates, cos im bored of the reg m60/rpk and u really dont have enough zp to be wasting it on a gun i will probably only use for HM/MM anyway... -
