It's very relevant.
Z8 opened their game to everyone and it was cool at first.. then the outsiders who couldn't compete with the players who have low ping started to cheat... although we all know if it was on a fair playing field.. the high pingers (assume they are 50 pingers as well) still wouldn't be on the same level.
You're right there is NA and UK hackers.. there are also A LOT LESS OF THEM. -
Well then if they are doing this kind of method
they should at least also open an European CrossFire
i know that it doenst concern people who already have an account
but LoL (League of Legend) was also like that and they divided the regions from Amerika and East West North Southern Europe.
I think if they can do it in some other game then they can do it also in Crossfire. -
Crossfire got over 7500000 fans and still counting and these fans are not not from uk and na it includes fans from other countries too.am not sure but if this step is taken then fans size will reduce to 75000(example).i agree that the step is irrelevant.this game should have banned other countries from playing crossfire at the very beginning when the game was launched.life is not easy you have to fight challenges for being pro.i know there are hackers in game and to remove hackers is difficult but not impossible. so if this step comes into force then z8games can never remain an international service.

It ain't fair for those players who comes from other countries that didnt registered yet.
And why would people want to play a game hosted on another continent anyways? If I wanted I could try and play a game hosted in Korea for example, but I know I'll have connection issues and my ping would put me at a massive disadvantage.Crossfire got over 7500000 fans and still counting and these fans are not not from uk and na it includes fans from other countries too.am not sure but if this step is taken then fans size will reduce to 75000(example).i agree that the step is irrelevant.this game should have banned other countries from playing crossfire at the very beginning when the game was launched.life is not easy you have to fight challenges for being pro.i know there are hackers in game and to remove hackers is difficult but not impossible. so if this step comes into force then z8games can never remain an international service.
Watch your zeros, its 750,000+ likes not 7,500,000+ likes. Also what other options does Z8 have? I know a few but most of them are MORE extreme then what Z8 is doing. Can you think of a answer that would either remove or make the hacking manageable? -

[GM]Saidin wrote: »Hello Z8Gamers and Cross Fire Fans!
Today we are announcing an evolution in the NA/UK version of Cross Fire with the introduction of IP restrictions for players outside North America and The UK.
Soon, Cross Fire services under Z8games will be restricting newly created accounts made through IP addresses outside our North American and UK regions from accessing the game.
Your existing Cross Fire NA/UK accounts will not be affected with this change. If you have an account with us (and all previously made accounts), your account will not be affected and you will still be able to take full advantage of all the services, features, events and promotions that Z8Games and Cross Fire NA/UK offers!
What this means is that accounts created before these restrictions go live will still be able to continue to play Cross Fire as normal. Only new accounts created after these restrictions go live will not be able to access the Cross Fire NA/UK servers.
Z8Games remains an international service. Our website and community will be open to all, and any current titles and future titles, including Metin2, will be unaffected by this Cross Fire IP restriction. Please note that after these restrictions are enabled, players outside of the NA/UK region may still be able to make an account on Z8Games.com, but they may not be able to access the Cross Fire servers.
We look forward to continue providing the best quality support for your existing accounts on our version of Cross Fire. Stay tuned to the Z8Games and Cross Fire websites for more information regarding when these changes will happen and who exactly they will affect.

dude I'm 32 years old and play cf to 3 years, then you is not the only mature like that, in relation to the ping in south america being tall is not our problem, who lives here! but rather of who manages the game, started playing when I see, there was only 3 servers, rookie, alpha and bravo, this time not to despise my country, now that the company has grown want to make that stupid, I say again this is not what will solve the problems of hackers, coders z8 should hire these companies hakcers to make a more effective security system, or anyone outside the USA and Canada if axis are blocked shall be free to create new account, and the rest of the world not , I do not think it fair! moralize the game yes but it is done fairly!

Didn't know it's a competition and not just a game o.O ) And the ping thing you're talking about it's... how should I put it? IRRELEVANT as well. I start playing CF when there was no UK server, with 150 ping, in a Canadian clan (20 ping for them) and still had a lot of FUN. -

They never stated they were doing this because of too many hacks. Since when is saying "brazilians" a racist statement? If you call me an "american" i dont get offended. "i have never used hack and will be until the end." -then you have nothing to worry about. You get to keep your current accounts. "you will be empty without us. And just to remember, this restriction includes all latin countries."-nah. All the "latin" countries can still play. Just dont get banned.
stop spamming! -

But the numbers of hackers will reduce significantly I can deal with the 5 Americans that I see hacking a month and yes I am exaggerating that number:p -

A month? I've only seen 17 players with less then 50 ping with obvious hacks in the past year.
Where have you been playing ? -

Battlefield if you really want to know, I have not been playing CF as it is infested to the core with hackers and nothing gets done on a real level to keep the hackers to a reasonable level.
However in 3 years of playing I never have seen 5 players with a low ping hacking per month esp not as low as 50, so yes they do hack too but no where near the Brazilian level they are the true pros in this field.
Probably if there was 17 low ping hackers this month (for you) then they just probably wanted to 'play fair' in the current climate, I certainly have never seen anywhere near that amount per month. Maybe the just figured "what the hell there are loads of hackers I get one too". -

maybe you should try reading what VATAV said, he said that he saw 17 low pinged hackers per year -
dude i am 33 years old i want my new friends to be albe to made new accounts to play with me not only who play right now CF
dude this is not the question, do you really think a ban on creating new accounts in certain countries will extinguish the hacks? hakcs the U.S. and UK that are banned by hacker can create new accounts? you really think that's fair? -

Skim reading unfortunately is not a good thing, but on these forums it seems to save me time as most people talk stupid:p
I re-read his post now and yes I would saying it is probably about that number, I would put it a little high but arguing over one or two extra people isn't worth it.hakcs the U.S. and UK that are banned by hacker can create new accounts? you really think that's fair?
Yes since the license states this is UK/NA version and that is how Z8 operates, obviously full bans would be better where they can't sign up at all.
