You don't set up matches. Just because someone watches a scrim and says what's going on doesn't mean it's a match.
Match pretty much = Scrim? so IDK where your going with that one?

People who say scrims aren't like matches are just making excuses for doing so bad in them.

People who say scrims are equivilant to matches either can't understand basic logic or just need to boost their egos.
  • This thread Is full of win.

    Undoubtedly .

Explain to me the BIG difference from MATCH & SCRIM.

    I'm setting up a MATCH.

    I'm setting up a SCRIM.

If your over thinking it or pointing something out that is pointless, be my guest. Really, as long as everybody can acknowledge what I'm saying, I don't think it really matters.
And if you were so smart, you would know SCRIM is internet slang for practice game as MATCH is a game for two people or teams to play in. So who is really the idiot? Smart ass.

I'm sorry your impatient. I'm sorry you mad. I'm sorry your not being casted. BUT I REALLY DONT CARE. If you don't wanna face a team, then let it be, but dont' come on here acting like ur team / you are the sht when you can't back it up. AND IF YOU CAN, then hit me up and I'll get a match set up for ya. Keep your stupid comments to yourself.

TO BE HONEST: If they aren't worth your time, then your sure as hell not worth mine.

Of course I'm mad, every 14 year old with autism uses that line. I rather farm exp on tutorial S&D than play these sh1tties, at least I will get something out of that. Not play a scrim without an anti cheat, no way of preventing ghosting, below average casting, and a team that will camp spawn acting like their life depends on this scrim.

Then this post doesn't interest you? That is fine. I'm not going to appeal to everyone but every 14 year old with autism like yourself can't keep your dumb ass comments out of my post? See the difference their?

I understand basic logic, but this has nothing to do with logic. The is about understanding the fact scrims are no different than matches except for the fact in matches, you're playing to place in something, whether it is a tournament or a ladder. I am just against the people that use not playing a match as an excuse to do bad. You'll probably do worse in a match if you are already doing terrible in a scrim.

Scrims offer an evironment to practice and try new things. Scrims are all about doing random **** you thought up to see if it works, or to get down strats. You don't do that in matches unless you're losing and grasping at straws.

People who do bad in scrims and then say they did bad because it was a scrim are different than people who have a completely different philosophy towards scrims than matches, and stick to that philosophy whether or not they win or lose a scrim.

So its a SCRIM/Match? Either way it's the same thing both ways.

All my comments are valid points, there is nothing you can prove wrong of what I just said, there is no anti cheat, you're not great at casting, H1N1 is the new xanax, it's too easy to ghost. Certainly you are the one with autism if you believe stating facts that apply to the current situation and that are also valid, are dumb comments. Also, calling the person stating these valid facts a dumb ass does not make your case of having autism any better. However, I would expect someone with autism such as yourself to post what you just posted. I'll make sure to donate some money to an autistic foundation so that 50% of this community can have hope, including yourself. You can thank me later.
  • h1n1 is awful, always has been.
TeamLiquid with Fallout, slaya, verm and who ever is probably just as bad.
And if denxi is on one of these teams, it makes it that much worse.

    I'm making a SANDWICH.

    I'm making a BOMB.

Obviously means they're the same thing.

Actually, SCRIM is not internet slang at all. SCRIM is short for SCRIMMAGE, a term commonly used in MANY sports. The term scrimmage is used to refer to a game played between two groups of people with the same basic "settings" of a match (e.g. rules), however without any of the purpose that a match offers, either for fun, to practice, for an exhibition, etc.

Why am I even debating with a person that can't properly spell equivalent?

Because the mastery of the english language has nothing to do with the validity of the ideas beign conveyed.

Not the worst, but you're pretty close. I'd put you a level above gurp.

not the best, but certainly not awful enough to argue with a team gurp is on.

Nice job with your big words. You can state your opinion, and if you were so smart you would know the opposite from opinion to facts. I know some people like my casting, some don't. That is fine. But if you wanna be one of the asses who are going to TROLOLOLOL all day, be my guest. But do it outside of my post because it has nothing to do with you, because like I said before, you have no interest in my cast. Enjoy yourself and your day cuz I'm done wasting my time with your sorry ass.

But the word MATCH is having two opponents face each other. It doesn't go into specifics on what type of MATCH it is. A scrim is a type of match. Like you have stated before, a practice MATCH.

BOMB and Sandwich? WTF? They are MAKING something. Have a similar action. With SCRIM AND MATCH their is a SIMILAR meaning between the two words and the action.

    Having no anti cheat?

    No ability to prevent ghosting?

    Yes these are opinions.

Keep digging your hole deeper autistic child.

I don't like to have one forum post responding to multiple ideas.
