My clan uses Mumble. I prefer it over Vent tenfold.

Have you adjusted the Output settings in your Mumble Configs? Have you adjusted the settings on your headset alone? IS attenuate disabled in your configurations?

Yes it is, but ventrilo is 100% fine also
