Didn't read the entire thread, but MAC is not supported by CF. You'll probably need a virtual windows application to run it. I agree with everyone else, just build one. I love my Macbook Pro, but its not mean't for games. :{
Ok,Im a think buy a macbook pro too and build a pc. -
I'm in agreement with everyone here. Alienware: Overpriced and overrated. They temp you t buy it with the 'pretty colours'..
Mac pro: My mum has one(yep...) and I've been on it a few times. It's great for programs, presntations, browsing. Worth it money in a way, but no meant for games.
What Tasty provided is probably the best you can get. I personally don't have the money and good god you have $1500 spare on a computer. Sir. Spend it well. ^_^ -
Hi,i have 1500 dollar for buy a computer.I dont know which one choose.Some friends tell me that we cant run games with apple computer.They tell me too that the alienware has some problem with updates.)
Neither, get an AMD-build for $450(Ask tasty about this)
use the rest of the $1050 for PC accessories,Headset,Mouse,Keyboard,Mousepad,ect. Maybe IRL stuff like food lol. Whatever floats your boat. just don't spend $1500 on a pc for gaming.
$450 with the right build would get you over 100fps in a full room in most games. -
Azify, you definatly CAN use your macbook pro to compete in CF. Running bootcamp on your mac enables a window partition to run natively (thus no emulation and no fps drops).
I have been competing in FPS games on macs for about 4 years.
You know where to contact me for any questions.
