Hi,i have 1500 dollar for buy a computer.I dont know which one choose. Some friends tell me that we cant run games with apple computer. They tell me too that the alienware has some problem with updates.)
-
wel if you don't know how to build one learn or just buy alienware. Mac is overpriced. Long live PC
MAC is overpriced as well. But worth it for what it is used for.(My old job was all MAC based). -
I dont know how we build a computer lolllll. How is alienware can be a scam?
Alienware is EXTREMELY over-priced, and most people buy it just because it looks cool. You can build something for much less, that can out-do an alienware.
For building a computer, you just buy all the parts separately, and put it together yourself.
Costs less, and gets more performance. -

Cool! Well not really... I've always known this and I'm thinking of making my own lappy as well. But it won't be complete for a while... Guess I'll have to keep playing at 30fps :P
Oh and not to mention when you make your PC, since you know how it works, you can upgrade it at any time. -
Thats's the problem, where i need to go and ask for build a pc.I dont know how build it alone.I dont know anything about a pc.)Cool! Well not really... I dont think you understand really.I said if we can ask an employee in best buy for example or someone who work in a computer, for build us a computer how we want it. -
You don't have to build one yourself to get a good rig (and without having to pay too much of an overprice).
Most online stores offer some kind of customization service where you pick the parts and they assemble and ship.
They also have prebuilt customs if that makes sense, meaning its good parts and they've assembled it but its not from some mainstream plastic brand like Dell.
Or just buy the parts and pay some nerd to build it. I'm sure some local shops do that.
(And fyi its practically impossible to build a PC wrong.) -

No one of my friends and my family is good in a computer.
Then you can go to a store and have them build it, I guess
@dot, I've never seen an online store allow you to pick the parts.. they have computers available, and you have to pick one you like. -

Oh. Guess you have terrible online stores then. Too bad.
Can you link me to a site that allows you to pick your parts, and then assembles it?O_O.... I would RQ sooo many games.... Bad enough with 30 fps, I can't even see people running around corners or doorways. Until they're already too close.
It's hard, considering I'm a sniper and ak'er T_T -

Its a half and half prebuilt system, but they offer every available part based on the general theme of the PC.
Pick an AMD based system and they'll let you pick every available AMD mobo and then every available RAM/CPU etc that fits that mobo.
And so forth. -

oo I've never seen a store like that here -
Azify, for $1500 you can build a great computer (newegg.ca)
now, building a computer isn't hard at all, all you do is order the parts online then assemble it. If for some reason you're having difficulties assembling it, just take all your ordered computer parts to any local computer shop and they'll do it for you.
do not get an alienware or a mac, for $1500 you can build a very good computer that will **** all over any alienware or mac that's priced at $1500. -

He'll be getting an 8GB, GTX 560, i5 2500k computer build. He'll have room for expansion because his motherboard will be up to date, featuring Sata 6gbs and USB 3.0, and also two PCI-E slots which will allow him to do SLI if he chooses to do so. Of course, that's why I added the quality Corsair power supply which is top of the line and will support any upgrade he chooses to do so in the future. The 8GB of ram will give him head room for future applications. His 1TB hard drive is fairly fast, but he also has the option of buying a solid state drive in the future if he chooses to do so which will improve his computers performance greatly. Everything will be placed in his Coolermaster 690 computer case, which has amazing air flow and room for even the biggest graphic cards. All of this will be paired with a 22' Acer monitor, which has a 2ms response time which is ideal for fps games.
P Bateman, out.
