how much would this cost in $$$ -
As great as they say liquid cooling is. I will never trust water that close to electronics. Personal preference i guess. But all seals are made to bust eventually or have a malfunction causing drastic issues that i will just avoid from the get go.
Does look awesome though. -

Nah it's safe son, I'm using an Arctic Cooler right now, but I wont hesitate in letting water near my $1500 CPU ;D -

It should do, though your's is hella sexier anyways
I'm only keeping a few things from my current on my next, but I'm definitely buying that cooler of yours. -
-
Figured I should spec up:
Current: p4 3.2 dual core, 4gig ddr2 (800mhz), stock clock and cooling, ati 5770.
parts I have on my desk: phenom ii 955 be, 4gb ddr3 (1600mhz), ati 5770, gigabyte 880g chipset mobo (ud2h)
600W ocz psu.
Reeally need to put those in a working box one of these days.
I'm working on upgrading parts of the build, I only really got into building a decent machine a little while ago. -

Just the red and green powerlights on my mobo light up my room at night enough already -
ummmmmmm 2000+ probs more
You can build that for 700$ nowadays, without the cooling. and LOL@ liquid cooled phenom. That is basically the least overclockable chip on the market right now and you went and liquid cooled it? The build is good but it's not even close to a 1200$+ machine, nevermind 2000$+. -

slant, you can't build a phenom x6 with a 5870, 6GB of dominator ram all in a Corsair Obsidian case for $700. The 5870 goes for $200 used, the phenom x6 currently goes for $200, etc etc. -

I could, but that's a whole different story right thur.
But still, $2000 is OTT.
