Maybe Razer is terrible? Must be it, everyone on every competitive forums talks negatively about it for a reason.
then don't buy it? there is a reason why there are many to choose from. If that were the case then razer would have been out of business by now. and trust me it's not because the mouse looks flashy. i have the glow off on mine. i wouldn't have bought the DA if it didn't get so many positive feedbacks

I would never buy a Razer product. Trust me, the reason why people buy Razer products is because it's what most of the big vendors (Best Buy, Futureshop) carry, not to mention most of the people that look into gaming peripherals are misinformed. -

I don't know any pros nor do i care what they use but from personal experience, being ten-folds better than you are, i find the DA a good mouse.
Brand is important if you don't know the market. i did my research before buying the mouse and i'm satisfied with it. as long as you're comfortable with your mouse it doesn't matter. -
